After a somewhat mild convention, the Twincast / Podcast is here to go wild with hot takes on all the latest reveals from this year's SDCC. Endure the heat while Scotty P and Megatronus talk at you about Legacy, Earthspark, marketing, and even why Alpha Trion didn't go to Earth with the other Autobots on the Ark. It's a jam packed episode so hunker down in an igloo and prepare to stay awhile.
Episode #305 “SDCC 2022” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back with the Transformers news you can use. Join host ScottyP and miscreants RodimusConvoy13 and Megatronus as we discuss toys that will be, toys that are, a listener question, and bringing glory to the colony. Download the episode now, you know you want to. Do it for the royalty!
Episode #304 “Capitalist Compromise” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- A 2007 Movie-themed Autobot 5-pack has been revealed for Studio Series. While we consider buying the set for Ironhide alone, the cast asks that all important question: where's the paint?
- More big reveals in small packages: Studio Series Core Class 86 Wheelie and Ratchet, plus Dark of the Moon Laserbeak. Which is our favorite? Let's just say life is prettier in pink.
- Transformers Legacy announced some heavy hitting red voyagers: Beast Wars Inferno, and Armada Starscream. While they look great, we question the loss of the gimmicks that made the original toys so special in the first place.
- Out of left field, MP48+ Dark Amber Lio Prime has been revealed, giving the cast a welcome opportunity to review the merits and drawbacks of the original Masterpiece.
- We noodle about with some of the recent releases, including Legacy Jhiaxus and Blitzwing, and Studio Series Sludge. By the time we're done, we realize it was bragging rights all along.
- Time for listener questions. Doctor McGrath asks: "Best character deaths (most meaningful) across any media?" RodimusConvoy13 & Megatronus proceed to deprive ScottyP of his answers.

Seibertron.com's Gallery Quest 5000 continues! Here are some new (and long overdue) galleries of some favorites from the Transformers Titans Return line.
These new galleries include Voyager Class
Optimus Prime with Diac,
Megatron with Doomshot and
Laser Prime with Refractor. The Optimus Prime mold is a remold of
Titans Return Octone (Octane) and Megatron is a remold of
Titans Return Blitzwing. Laser Prime, a recolor of the Voyager Class Optimus Prime, is a modern day update of
G2 Laser Optimus Prime (which was recently given a new update in
Transformers Legacy). Released in 2017, Laser Prime was part of the "Chaos on Velocitron" box set and is a challenging set to obtain due to its exclusivity.
What do you think about these Transformers action figures? Share your thoughts about these figures in our ongoing discussion on
Seibertron.com's Energon Pub forums!
Enjoy these new galleries. More are on the way!
Titans Return Laser Optimus Prime (173 images) - Voyager Class
Titans Return Refractor (37 images) - Titan Masters, Voyager Class
Titans Return Optimus Prime (162 images) - Voyager Class
Titans Return Diac (39 images) - Titan Masters, Voyager Class
Titans Return Megatron (152 images) - Voyager Class
Titans Return Doomshot (35 images) - Titan Masters, Voyager Class

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back again to talk about, you guessed it, Transformers. Join illustrious host ScottyP and the Smee to his Captain Hook, Megatronus as they tackle the thankfully light news of the day.
Episode #301 “Mistaken Identity” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- We kick things off with a host of top-notch listener questions:
- balgorra asks: "how do you go about displaying your Transformer collection... I am looking for some inspiration for upgrading my display"
- D-Maximal-Slacker asks: "...if you could make a 5 member strong team of interdimensional Cybertronian defenders, who would they be and why?"
- meanguns asks: "Since Menasor requires the trailer rigging for the new combiner build, will Hasbro need to bump up the pricing on deluxe combiners and include extra parts...?"
- Images of Scourge - a redeco of Legacy Leader Laser Prime - in Nemesis Prime colors is out and on the webs. One cast member digs it, the other doesn't - can you guess which?
- Legacy Voyager Override is also in the news, and the cast puzzles over the voyager price point. We're down to drive this Walmart exclusive into the sunset.
- A new video from the HasLab team shows off an early prototype of Star Saber, and ScottyP and Megatronus proceed to geek out hard. We are ready for this toy.
- We wrap up with a round of bragging rights.

Here's a blast from the past! Check out these new galleries from the Beast Wars Return toy line. This line was Takara's 2005 run of Beast Machines, which was sold exclusively at Toys R Us stores in Japan. Beast Wars Return featured many extensive "show-accurate" decos (though debatable) of the primary characters from the Beast Machines cartoon. The new galleries below feature
Megahead Megatron,
Noble Savage and
Vehicon Jetstorm who are redecos of
RID Megatron Megabolt,
Beast Machines Beast Changer (aka Savage Noble) and
Beast Machines Ultra Class Jetstorm.
These galleries, oddly, came out of working on the gallery for the recently released
Legacy Laser Optimus Prime. That figure led to Titans Return Laser Prime, which led to doing the galleries for all of the Titans Return Optimus Prime and Megatron molds, including the Transformers Legends Black Convoy and G2 Megatron (who came with a mini version of Noble Savage, which is how I ended up at these galleries).
More galleries are just around the corner. Stay tuned!
Beast Wars Returns Megahead Megatron (105 images) - Deluxe Vehicles
Beast Wars Returns Noble Savage (115 images) - Deluxe Beasts
Beast Wars Returns Jetstorm (146 images) - Ultra Vehicles

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back again to talk about, you guessed it, Transformers. Join illustrious host ScottyP and his ramshackle band, xRotorstormx, EpicVoiceGuy, and Megatronus as we Wreck N Rule with the high octane energy of a snuggle of sloths. Plus, long-time Transformers comic writer Nick Roche joins at the start to talk about his latest comic!
Episode #300 “Last Pod Standing” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- We kick things off with an interview with the one, the only, Nick Roche. Listen in to hear all about his latest Transformers work, Last Bot Standing
- Post-interview, the rest of the crew chimes in on the full reveal of Masterpiece Trailbreaker, in all his everything-but-the-kitchen-sink glory.
- The entire Amazon Wreckers subline is available, and the crew is whelmed. We briefly walk through Impactor, Leadfoot, Springer, Bulkhead, and Twintwist. Oh look, a papercraft hammer. Yay?
- Studio Series reveals are in, and we zero in on Arcee and Galvatron as the notable head scratchers and lowlights, respectively.
- Now for something completely different: Lego Optimus Prime. Big, fully transformable, and expensive, the corporate synergy is strong with this one.
- Bring on the Target exclusives: we briefly touch on the random assortment of WFC trilogy redecos thrown at Target consumers like so much chimken.
- Mr.MicroMaster asks: "What if Hasbro is done with Transformers comics. While I highly doubt this is what Hasbro has in mind for the comics, non the less [sic] I think it will be an interesting thought experiment."
- We wrap up with a round of bragging rights. But wait...
- Our super special 300th episode topic: What is your 300th most favorite Transformer, and why? No seriously, we all pick something we really love, just... less... than approximately 299 other things in our collections.

The Seibertron.com Twincast / Podcast is back again to talk about, you guessed it, Transformers. Join illustrious host ScottyP and miscreants Mr. Starscream and Megatronus as we discuss how our worlds are in danger! However, there's no Cyber Planet Key to be found, so it seems we're up the creek.
Episode #299 “Gigalonian Nights” is available directly and in our RSS Feed, and should appear on Apple Podcasts, Stitcher Radio and many other Podcatcher sites within 24 to 48 hours of when you see this news post.
Here's what we discuss in this episode:
- We've known about his through grainy leaks, but the big guy has been revealed, and Cybertron Metroplex is looking play-tastic.
- Another big 'un has been revealed, and Movie Masterpiece MPM-13 Blackout is looking mighty nice indeed. Don't forget Black Zara... err, Scorponok.
- Redecos in all shades of the rainbow are hitting our light receptors, most notably Generations Selects Cyclonus - we also give brief mention to Wrecker Twintwist, toy deco Dinobot, and Scorponok & Parasite.
- A Hasbro roundtable discussion addresses fan concerns, such as why Earthrise Soundwave won't be re-released in a while, and whether Legacy Menasor is backwards compatible with Combiner Wars.
- Time for listener questions. D-Maximal Primal asks: "You get 1 combiner character post-turn of the century to get a perfect update... Who would it be?" Good work, slacker.
- Aaarnhide19 asks: "Do any of you miss the modern update being a new design that stays true to the character and not a 1 to 1 approximation of the cartoon as it has largely been since Siege?" A lot to process here.
- LunarBolt1984 asks: "What are your thoughts on Hasbro doing some Transformers and Visionaries crossover figures?" Shut it down. "If Hasbro does decide to permanently update the G1 Soundwave/Blaster design... what would be a suitable alt mode?" Hmm. "What do you think of the term "Geewun"?" Hate it.
- We wrap up with a round of bragging rights.
