The second wave of Transformers Legacy United had a planned stocking date of April 1st and so fans are indeed already finding these "newly revealed" toys on retail shelves. In the US, the wave 2 voyagers were found at Target. We have an image from fellow Seibertronian TF-fan kev777 below. That wave includes Cybertron Starscream and Silverbolt.
The same voyagers were also found at Canadian Gamestops.
Speaking of Gamestop, US Gamestops are currently starting to stock the wave 2 Legacy United deluxes. Those include Chromia, Gears and Shard (with an Animated Bumblebee repack). The Autobot 5 pack with that now mythical earth mode Hound was also found at US Gamestops, while it was found at Toysrus stores in Canada.
We have some reviews of all toys mentioned, below.
The first wave of 2024 Studio Series core class figures has been popping up in the US starting at the very end of January and we wanted to give you a heads up. This wave includes Mohawk (the only 2024 figure of a character from the Michael Bay movies), Concept Art Rumble (based on concept art for the Bumblebee film's G1 styled sequence), and a repack of 86 Frenzy (Red) which is great news since that figure has been very hard to find for some. The wave has been found at Target.
Big news, the Transformers Legacy United line is being distributed across the globe and starting to appear in stores. This particular sighting is from a Toysrus in Singapore and it's only for the deluxe class figures. This includes Cyberverse Windblade, Rescue Bots Chase, Animated Bumblebee and Magneous, which is part of 2024's Rock Lord type gimmick for the line.
We have videos if you want a better look at the figures coming from Prime vs Prime and Chuckdawg 1999.
The images of the sighting come from Isaac who posted on Facebook.
While fans may not have paid much attention lately, Costco has been keeping the tradition of having big Transformers themed toys available exclusively to them during the holiday season. It's just that the recent offerings were non transforming licensed toys like those big remote control Bumblebee toys from Jada. But this year we get an actual Hasbro release. It is a rerelease of Cyberverse Tropper class Battlecall Optimus Prime in evergreen styled packaging. This toy was found at a Costco in Québec Canada by TF fan Guy.
Christmas shopping season has started at Toysrus. Their stores are stocked to the brim, including the Transformers section. While there is a lot of stock, amount wise, there isn't much variety. It mainly features non Studio Series Rise of the Beasts toys and Cyberverse, which makes sense as they mainly target parents/kids. They also concentrate on their exclusives and their big Transformers deal for the next two weeks combines those two strengths of their: the exclusive mainline Rise of the Beasts 3 pack from the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line.
Below is how various Toysrus stores look like at the moment. You'll notice that they did get the wave 4 Legacy deluxes, but in a small amount, compared to the rest. They are also up to date on the Cyberverse line, with the latest Arcee/Hashtag finger puppets and the warrior Megatron wave.
In other sightings news, the final wave of 2023's Studio Series line is being found in Canada. Leader Primal and the deluxe wave with Mirage and Nightbird has been found at Gamestop.
It was just within the last two weeks that figures from the Velocitron Speedia 500 collection started popping up at American discount retailer Ross stores, including thethe highly elusive Cosmos.
Now Target is sending Buzzworthy Bumblebee figures to Ross, as well. SS86 Cliffjumper, SS86 cartoon deco Kup, and SS B-127 were all found at a Ross store in West Bountiful, Utah.
And if that wasn't enough, Seibertronian Casey280 found Shattered Glass Slicer and Exo-Suit, a Hasbro Pulse exclusive, at a Ross in the Vintage Oaks Shopping Center in Novato, California. Photo proof is provided below.
So have you found any retailer exclusives at discount/closeout stores in your part of the world? Send us a photo and where you found them to us to let the Seibertron community know.
We have news that the Transformers Studio Series core class wave 7 has been found at US retail. Fellow Seibertronian kurthy found this at a Target in Coralville, Iowa. The wave consists of:
2x Bumblebee (Dark of the Moon)
2x Terrorcon Novokane
2x Frenzy (1986)
2x Noah Diaz Exo-suit
While many fans have had Studio Series 86 leader class Snarl for a while, he has only popped up at US retail recently. We have had a few reports of him found at Gamestop and he appears to be in solid cases (then again, that might just be a Gamestop thing). Speaking of Studio Series, we also have word that the latest deluxes have been found in the US, but this time at Walmart. The new deluxes are SS 86 Brawn and Cliffjumper from the video game series (based on the previously released Bumblebee). We also got word that these deluxes are appearing in Singapore at collectible stores such as the one found in the international airport.
We thank all the fans who submitted their sightings. Below are video reviews of these toys if you want to know as much as possible about them before buying them.
Some of these latest releases are also in stock at Seibertron's store.
Fun news for Americans, several new exclusives in the Buzzworthy Bumblebee line are being found in Target stores. Here is a breakdown of the sightings:
- Transformers Rise of the Beasts Jungle Mission 3-Pack, which has Cheetor, Mirage and Airazor (finally) found by 3P Desperation in Daphne, Alabama
- Transformers Studio Series Rise Of The Beasts Optimus Prime found by Taureanstar in Mooresville, North Carolina
- Transformers Studio Series 86 2 Pack, featuring a dying Prowl and Ironhide, found by CringeMcCringle in Bainbridge, Ohio (AOE Grimlock was also found at that location and has been out for a little while, but just a heads up in case people don't know)
