In-Hand Images: Transformers Generations Voyager Roadbuster

Lookin' good. My previous concerns re now laid to rest.........previous bad camera angle made his legs look skinny but in the original, just the same unless you count the battle armor attachment.

He's the most epic-looking nurse ever created.

Looks good and I think there's some modular play with the weapons.

Just got Whirl today, and now I want Roadbuster because 1) he looks much more awesome than we were led to believe, and 2) I want to recreate this for some reason:

Wait a minute, wasn't there supposed to be a sticker saying "do not paint" on his hood? He still looks better than what we've seen before!

Wondering if he has stickers that need to be applied like Whirl did. Otherwise he needs some repolabels bad to break up all blandness on him. Otherwise nice figure.

He does. It was stated at Toy Fair earlier this year, when he was revealed, that he would have a sticker sheet.

Yeah, its sad they couldn't incorporate a wrist swivel there. specially since it looks like the arms at that point don't do anything else except peg into the bumper for transformation into car mode.

Still its looking very very nice.

I want this...guess it's online only for me though, as the UK never even got Whirl...or much of the generations come to think of it.

Sweet looking! The only thing missing is a big in the middle of his hood/chest. Comic accuracy or not, this is what I will do to mine.

Yep... a must buy for me! I like all of the ports on him.... may have to dig out some of the PCC minicons and add even MORE guns/weapons to him....

A molded one would have been killer on this guy.

Damn it looks so awesome, the arms are a little weird, but I really, really like this.
Dare I say this beats the FansProject one?

Wonder how this compares to the CMS corp version of the figure from Devorak.

I'm not quite sure about the original sticker sheet, but Reprolabels has a set that definitely enchances Whirl, as well as giving him even more detail. Here's the listing, if you're interested.

Great job capturing his essence. I agree his lower legs don't look as bad now. Can't wait for it to come out. So when will that be?

A small update on the previous in-hand images of Generations Roadbuster, we have additional images of the Autobot Wrecker, courtesy of Pax Cybertron via Facebook! Through these additional images, we get a nice look at how each of his weapons interact with him in both modes. According to Pax Cybertron, several in-hand images of Roadbuster's wave-mate, Sky-Byte, will be posted tomorrow as well. Check out the images below!

That big gun configuration looks nice.

Hollow guns? Oh man. Hasbro is really cutting back. Does he come with a missile? Looks like the missile launcher can fit one.

Roadbuster looks really nice, but I'm really looking forward to pictures of Sky-byte.

Doesn't he seem a little short for a Stormtrooper?

Badass.. The more I see of him the more I want him.

Gosh the more I see Roadbuster, I really, really want him. (Maybe I need him.) Though I also want to see Sky-Byte and Brainstorm.

The color saturation is strong with this one.
Still a great looking mold though.

That head sculpt reminds me a lot of a Zaku. From Gundam design. Not an expert just an observation. The Darth Vader reference is somewhat accurate too. And Samus. I think I like my 3rd party version better. Cost doesn't compare though so this is a good option, and looks good enough.

He's a great toy. I'm really enamored with him. Hasbro's doing a great job of stepping up the game.

The hollow weapons are due to the "customizing" aspect of how they interlock.

Glad I was right about the modular nature of the weapons. Wouldn't mind seeing this guy as a Constructbot.

If I remember correctly, I believe he is supposed to come with a decal sheet similar to how Whirl did so I would imagine that is why he hoesn't have an Autobot logo straight out of the box.

Does his optics use light piping?

Roadbuster has always been a favorite. I can't wait for him. I love this sculpt, Hasbro really hit it out of the park with him and whirl. I'd love to see a Broadside triple changer but that fansproject one would work nicely too. I love the pics of Gel Shark too, gonna pick him up. More Car Robots toys!!! I'm kind of torn though. I'm thinking of selling my movie toys but there are some that are just really cool. Maybe I'll just keep the ones that are in the movie... but then Hasbro screwed us over with DoTM with Que, Soundwave, and Leadfoot. SIGH.
