With the release of the KO Vintage looking Generation 1 Mirage, one had to wonder if this might happen, especially with the recent
E-Hobby BT Electro Disruptor Clear Rijie (Mirage), and the recent
2007 Botcon Transparent Blue Mirage Give Away Figure.
Here we have an auction for the GHOST version of G1 Mirage, although it is a KO version, so the quality is unknown, and likely to be poorer than the quite fragile vintage G1 version.
Ghost Mirage eBay Auction
Here's some images for you too!
It looks so cool, I have bought one for my collection to complete the 'invisible' Mirage set!!

First Gen gives us a breakdown and pictures of the higher quality NIKe Transformers KOs he bought from eBay--but we here at Seibertron offer a warning too--:
"
...I gave the guy and offer of 35 USD for Megs and Prime, did I make a good deal? They are ko's but look at the pics below."
"Listing reads that megs box says convoy on it with no NIKE symbols or faction symbols. What do you guys and gals think, be brutally honest so that if I made a mistake I don't do it again?"
Scaleface also reports more eBay
auctions for similar realistic looking KO items.
What does this mean? Well, Transformers fans can now buy these on a sensitive budget, and not break the bank, if they don't mind the Chinese versions.
Checking the pictures, they look very similar to the originals, so BUYER beware, don't get stuck paying the vintage price for the chinese KO versions. Be careful when purchasing these!
Of course, if you are purchasing one of the wonderful multi-colored ones from previous auctions, you already know that you have a KO product. Now it's just gotten a bit harder to tell with some of them.

A new auction has come to our attention, thanks to
Seibertron.com member Scaleface.
Apparently the newly released Nike "Shoe-formers" have already ended up at a Chinese knockoff factory and are being produced in some "interesting" colors.

Big Lots is a great place for KO's, especially G1 combiners.
It appears that another kind of KO can be added to the list.
Large size Knock Off versions of World's Smallest Transformers Prowl, and World's Smallest Transformers Red Alert have been found at Big Lots.
Read the full siting
here along with pictures of these interesting KOs.

Seibertron.com member Darth Decepticonus has found something very interesting on
eBay.com. There is a new listing for a
Super Laser Gun who may look a little familiar.
It is a remolded and repainted Classics Megatron! The figure is the same as Classics Megatron overall with a different color, however, the Decepticon Insignia on the scope of the figure has also been removed.
With knock-off's, one is never enough. So we'll keep you posted if any more Classics receive knock-off treatments as well.
