After a several month absence from the scene, another of what I´ve personally dubbed "Factory Made Fakes" (although that´s still under invenstigation) has appeared. Once again, this is an all-clear Optimus Prime
figure. However, this one is different from its early counterparts. On this figure, the entire trailer is clear and does not feature the sticker earlier ones had. Also, this has transparent versions of the rest of the accessories included with the recent Takara #0 Convoy reissue (axe, etc). Also, this new knock off has the Takara "Long Stacks" instead of the castrated version Hasbro´s releases sport. This figure is from the (very impressive) collection of
Elvin Pena. It should be noted that Hasbro/Takara have been upset that these pieces have been made/leaving the factory. Be advised that if you buy one of these from a US seller, the possibility exists that you may face some legal troubles.

According to Rodimus99: "I was at K-mart tonight and they had some of those pre-made Easter Baskets. Some of which contained "bootleg" Transformers.
One of the sets was the Contructicons in G1 colors minus the logos, it appeared that the set had all of the parts to form
Devestator. The second set was the Protectobots, no logos, but appeared to be in original colors, exept for Hot Spot who was red. This set
also came with parts to form Defensor. The baskets sell for $9.99." While investigating this news at a local K-Mart here in Chicago, SEIBERTRON.com discovered one of the Easter Basket sets has a knock-off T-Wrecks (Beast Wars Megatron repaint) as the main toy. Thanks for the news Rodimus99!!!
