Or, get the movie for regular price at Best Buy, like I did with The Protector.

Its good to see the turtles back in full action. The storyline seemed to ignore the monster gathering in the middle in favour of Raph and Leo, but those scenes were so well written I'll let them off. That fight between them did make the movie.
Downside: The humans look painfully thin. The models for those guys need tweaking for the next one. Also, I didn't like Splinters voice. I don't know who did it, and I know they were going for the old wise japanese guy, but he seemed to slur his words.
Definatly worth going to see in the cinema. I look forward to seeing the sequal.

That would be Mako. And the reason for his words slurring is the recording took place roughly two weeks before throat cancer took his life. Normally his voice work is just superb and his voice comes out very steady and strong. It really saddened me to hear him in that condition.

Yeah, Mako is really an awesome actor. Him as Uncle Iroh and the owner of the Frying Dragon from Side Kicks. I wasn't able to stay for the end credits, had anyone noticed a tribute to Mako or anything like that?

The rubber tub in my basement would be a sure sign of yes. None of the stupid gimmick crap though.

Sadly I saw nothing.

Oh you'll definitely love it. That fight seriously made the movie.

He began to show that he was every bit as capable a leader as Leonardo.

Except that he's not!

Oh I dunno about that, Raph is the younger brother, less experience and a really hot temper. Very passionate and very confident in his abilities. Overall I'd say he and Leo are evenly matched. The only topper for Leo is that he doesn't let his emotion cloud his judgement where as Raph does. If he ever learned to control himself I'd see him as the number two turtle or even subbing as the top shell every once in a while.

The pirated version. I have one. It does not in no way compare to the theatre version. I tried watching the film on my computer and I just can't do it. So I'm waiting for a little cash flow so I can go see it again.

Sun Runner, I suggest you go see the film in theatres. It is a whole different thing from a pirated version.

Ah. Did not know that. Now it makes sense. I wonder what he would have sounded like if he didn't have the cancer. Do you have any links to his VA work?

Found this of Uncle Iroh singing.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ncK6UDWjpQ4

That was a magnificant voice that would have been perfect for Splinter. If only. May he rest in peace.

Well it doesnt matter since i worked at a movie theater and i can pull some strings to see it at a reduced price or even free.

I'd rather you didn't pay a reduced price or nothing at all. But that's not up to me in the end.

I just saw it and I liked it. I'd say that it is even better than the original series as a whole.

I enjoyed the call backs to the old series at the end though.

Also I loved how the movie focused mostly on Raph.

The only thing I didn't like was some of the cheesier lovey dovey togetherness lines towards the end.

I just picked up the first set of Ninja Turtles Fast Forward and Season 4 of the original series. I am seriously thinking of collecting the figures again.

Hey as much as it sucks it is needed to keep the turtles on the air. 4Kids is loosing money and if they have to drop a show it might just be TMNT and/or Yugioh.

Just hope that the turtles return to their regular time stream.

Honestly I would rather the show go off the air then keep fast forward on. It had a good 5 year run which is much longer than a lot of shows now a days. Leave on a high note.
