Now Hasbro gives you all an official classics Arcee at less than ¼ the price and you expect a miracle of engineering ?

You all should be happy you finally got an Arcee that’s both a car and cartoon accurate pink. I personally like it and could care less about the back kibble. I pose my figures facing forward not turned around.

Post of the day, honestly this is virtually the iGear version for 1/4 of the price and people are complaining? No wonder Hasbro do half arsed molds when they get complaints about the ones they actually get right.

I personally don't quite understand the negativity that seems to be following this figure either. It's Arcee, it Transforms, and is unashamed to be pink! FINALLY!

Agreed. This is perfect. I do like Delicate Warrior (mainly because she looks so cute) but this is basically a perfect Arcee. If I didn't have my TFA Arcee I'd go for this.

I wonder if that "backpack" can be taken off without making a mess of things. I don't have any particular disliking for it, but it does make her look bulky. I wouldn't mind having an untouched as-Hasbro-made-it figure (so she can be transformed at leisure) and a figure for taking pictures with (because that bulky backpack seems like it might limit things, as far as composition goes).

Guess I'll get one and see what I can do picture wise first xD

Arcee deluxe looks pretty good, except for those huge 'child-birthin' hips. I know it was probably unavoidable from a mechanical standpoint, but still....

After watching the review it seems like Hasbro was trying to cover both the G1 and IDW styles with this figure. The backpack isn't that bad and is in keeping with the G1 design.

Her back looks horrible. Hasbro is really slouching on engineering and quality with this round of Generations compared to previous years. Third party companies are kicking their butt at design and engineering right now. Quality is about on par with the third parties anymore, unfortunately.

I find it rather baffling that Hasbro has the budget to do a remold for this and not think of making that backpack removable, you know, like in the comics? :HEADHURTS:

They were getting better for a while, but it seems that they don't care or know proper paint schemes for these characters anymore.

Where i this picture of Takaras version? Ive done a google search but cant seem to find any.

Thanks

Not sure I like it considering it will be insanley priced as all Takara stuff is, I'll stick with the Hasbro one, actually quite like the black on her helps to break up the colour scheme the Takara one looks a little incipid.

Have you checked BBTS? Takara ones are only 30 dollars. The way the dollar is continuing to decrease in value, our Hasbro ones will only go up in price. For 15 more dollars you get a superior product that you'll be happier with and have saved an economic cost of post-market price-gouging by scalpers later. I kind of wish now that I had done the same with a lot of the Henkei classics figures back in the day now. Thankfully an ex girlfriend got me the Henkei Optimus Prime voyager mold. Love love love that toy. But yeah, Chromia and Windblade also look a lot better. Same mold, I just don't want to have to learn to paint them myself, and that's worth 15 dollars to me. I can't wait to see Takara's Jhiaxus. Hopefully it's the more accurate deco.

I'm based in the UK so after shipping still works out expencive, besides I actually prefer the black on her.

engineering on chromia looks damn near the same as some of the prime arcee's. and that back kibble could have folded up a LOT cleaner than that. otherwise, its still pretty nice.
