Some old school Italian fans of the Transformers franchise have gathered together to bring for the first time in the country, an expo/convention dedicated entirely to the robots - through name changes and all translation mishaps: Cybertrome!

The event will take place in Rome this coming May, 6-7, featuring IDW artist Guido Guidi as special guest, plus exhibitions, collections, more art, books and comics, plus the live action movie car replicas. Check out more info (in Italian) on their Facebook page.

With just a couple of weeks left before the event, the folks over at Cybertrome (aka Cybertron in Rome, geddit?) have sent along a slew of promotional material (in English this time!) for any Transformers fan who may be thinking of attending! Art guests, shows and talks, toys, Hasbro previews, live-action movie guests and materials and LEGO builds - check it all out below, and grab your tickets here!

After the success of the 2017 edition, the organisers of Cybertrome - the Italian fan run Transformers convention taking place in Rome - have sent us some more English material for the 2018 edition of the event, running next month on May 5-6 2018!

Seeing the likes of artists such as Guido Guidi, Simone Daraghiati and Nicola Perugini, and the Italian dub voice actors for Strongarm (Katia Sorrentino) and Bumblebee (Alessandro Capra) in Transformers: Robots in Disguise, and for Sam Witwicky / Shia Laboeuf (Davide Perino), the event also features talks, live sketching, exhibitions, dealers and more.
