Not a problem! Don't worry about it.

Seriously, guys, that Scraplet they were holding honestly looked harmless. None of its fangs were visible, its eyes were all big and cuddly, and it was behaving like a cute widdle thang. It only turned vicious when it noticed its prey.
Besides, it's not like these guys even know what a Scraplet is, much less how dangerous it is. Why, if you never knew what a tiger was (and thus never knew of its ferocity), wouldn't you think its cub was cute if said cub was acting all innocent-like and harmless?
The only reason anyone is calling them stupid about this is because we (the audience) know of the threat that Scraplets pose. These three don't because they have never encountered such a thing before and have had zero experiences to know how deadly Scraplets are.
As for why they don't listen to Ratchet's and Bulkhead's warnings, isn't it obvious? Because they aren't aware of the danger and are under the impression that there is none, they see the Autobots as overreacting to something that they perceive as being harmless.
This isn't a case of stupidity, it's a case of innocent ignorance.

And just what exactly is wrong with that? Animated was the best thing since Beast Wars. And Prime has the potential to be as well.Rated X wrote:Never saw an episode of TF Prime and this clip aint helping. It appears to be another version of animated.

This is why I LOVE Prime. Its so dark and its like it is actually aimed towards the older fans who graduated from elementary school a while ago. I just love how violent it gets.
Its a tie between that thing and the little bug-thing that the dark energon infected at the end of Darkness Rising Pt. 2 that scares the crap about me most.
BTW... that thing at the end of Darkness Rising Pt. 2...... TFormers Prime Scalpel?

Exactly...just replace Beast Wars with G1. I like Beast Wars, but I like G1 better.

Nah. That thing's dead anyway.Pr1meSuspect wrote:BTW... that thing at the end of Darkness Rising Pt. 2...... TFormers Prime Scalpel?
Fair enough. Though, when I wrote that, I wasn't talking about favorites, I was talking about quality and competence. Still, let's not open up the "G1 vs. BW" can of worms.SlyTF1 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:And just what exactly is wrong with that? Animated was the best thing since Beast Wars. Depends on the kind of worms...I'm fond of the sour jelly worms, personally.

The scrapmetals or whatever you wanna call them were like little kiddy pirahana things that ate anything metallic but ignored the humans.
This episode really didnt have enough ooph in it or bang it was really boring to me.
Next weeks episode Con Job with Wheel Jack looks to be more promising but i guess we will see next Friday.
Overall this episode is a 2 out of 5 sorry but i really didnt care for it.
I do like Prime but I have a gut feeling there will be some more sucky episodes like Scrapheap in the near future.
Me I like Prime I also like Animated I dont bash but I do hate certain episodes such as this one and I hated certain episodes in Animated but overall I enjoyed Animated.
Same with Prime there will be sucky episodes from time to time. But I know I will enjoy it like with previous series in the transformers.
I am not getting the re-releases of G1 but I will get the new Shout Set of Beast Wars along with the Takara Sets which have never been in the US.
RID has only been shown in the US on the Fox-Box however it has never ever seen a US DVD release for unknown reasons. However there has been many outside releases from the UK called the Ultimate RID Set which says Jetix.

It's not a matter of what we want to call them, but what they are called. Scraplets.Rodimus2006 wrote:The scrapmetals or whatever you wanna call them were like little kiddy pirahana things that ate anything metallic but ignored the humans.
And, you act as though you've never heard of these things before. Have you forgotten about the G1 Scraplets?
Stop going off topic! We're talking about Prime ONLY! This DVD talk has no place in this thread.Rodimus2006 wrote:I am not getting the re-releases of G1 but I will get the new Shout Set of Beast Wars along with the Takara Sets which have never been in the US.

And RiD never aired on the Fox Box, it aired on Fox Kids, complete different programming block. And the reasons for it not being released in the U.S. are not unknown. Disney still own it, that's why.
Gyaaahh! Not ya got me going off topic!

If I were to criticize this episode for anything, it would be that it was all about the Autobots and practically nothing about the Decepticons. But I don't care because we need a variety of episodes and I loved this one. I'm looking forward to seeing Wheeljack in the next episode.
Finally, a TF show to feed my BW itch!
Posted by Sabrblade on February 19th, 2011 @ 3:21pm CST
But we have seen this before:zipper wrote:I really loved this episode. To me it was very artistic and we were able to see a different side to the Transformers that we haven't seen before.

Ah, yes. Right.zipper wrote:That's true Sabrblade. I guess I should have been more specific. This is something that we haven't seen in TF Prime so far and I liked it
BTW, there is a discussion thread for the whole series.

I'm really psyched about this series, and the previes I have seen are starting to get me even more psyched
Im too impatient so i watch it online.teletoons going to take YEARS!!!!!!!!!!!(maybe a month or 2)

Overall though, Prime is just not doing much for me. It's not nearly as fun as Beast Wars and Animated are, and the pacing of the episodes seems wonky. This one was better but the others seem to just be Michael Bay actions scenes with some plot hap-hazardly tossed in. Also none of the characters are particularly likable (maybe Bulkhead). I definitely hope it can improve.

There was no queen-template analog and I doubt they 'grow', but the idea that a rare few few may eventually return as a bigger version could yield us all a neat Sharkticon-style Prime toy to own and love!!
I hope they don't kill off Wheeljack.
Edit: Oops!! The Wheeljack issue is being discussed in another thread. Please ignore my comment on his death.

I'm glad they didn't, as such an occurrence has become something of a cliche.Stormwolf wrote:I rather liked this episode, though I was kinda expecting the Scraplets to merge into a bigger form:

god, I love this show, It's hilarious and serious at the same time!
The part where Optimus and Arcee where dying of cold, that was so deep. It seemed so emotional talk...
