What would you prefer? Red paint? Or Light Piping!

I see the trunk and the spoiler on the back, and the legs clearly become the hood, but there's no midsection..
I'll reserve judgment on this one, at least until real pics are available. This one smells fishy to me.

If you look closely at the back of the calves, you can see the top of the car and windshield...

Whats great is that it looks like the front wheels aren't wierdly centered like the FE version is in alt mode.

For what it's worth, I really don't like light piping. It's a neat enough gimmick, but my own humble opinion is that paint looks better than a bifurcated head who's backside is a separate color made of clear plastic.
A final thought; if Hasbro really loved us, they'd start putting SMD LED's inside Transformer heads.

Transformers needs more armybuilders.
What would be REALLY cool is if these has the same/similar robot modes, but different alt modes.

That robot mode... It must require the sacrifice of a thousand virgin goats to be so... CLEAN.

Now that is an awesome idea!
Also I'm really impressed. We just need to see him in alt mode now and hope for the best.

It is impressive. When I first saw the (tiny) Argos picture I thought they;d cut bits out. There do seem to be a lot of joints in the lower leg.
It would be so much nicer if Hasbro were revealing the alt mode at the same time.

A - It's not out yet
B - It was packaged upside down in car mode and looked like a quadriplegic.
Either way, I'm diggin this but let's be honest with ourselves. Looking at that picture it reminds me a lot of the first time they showed us Universe Cyclonus for the first time. Everyone loved how it looked. Then we got the production shot and everybody hated the colors. I don't think this guy will be much different. It seems pretty photoshoped to me but then again, that's the idea. Hasbro want's it looking fresh to death for catalog photos so it looks appealing to retailers and appealing to kids/grown adults who collect toys.

Also, damn, those legs look complicated.
I may start collecting this line after all.

So glad I didn't spend £40+ on the First Edition version.

I hope they do. Then, I'd like both remolded into Terrorcons. Making army-builders out of army-builders.

We really need to make a collective effort to refer to it as 'PRID', because RiD came out in 2001.

I did notice that there seems to be a backpack that sorta seems to stretch outwards (pretty horizontally from the camera angle) that might jut out a bit much. But if the sides of the shoulder pads hide that a bit (kinda like energon downshifts hude shoulders might), it could be forgiveable.
