I'm talking about you Cliffjumper, Glyph, Tap Out, Bugbite, Wasp, Goldbug, Bumper, and/or that black unnamed Japan exclusive that I've taken to calling Scarab.

You lied.
Reveals of Bumblebee repaints are like the Rickroll of the Transformers collectors' world. "We've got something new and exciting to show you!" ... ... "Ha! Fooled you! It's a Bumblebee repaint! Never gonna give you up..."

But... they're not. Bumblebee is one of the most notorious shelfwarmers today. It isn't because Bumblebee isn't popular, it's because he's overpacked in each case.gothsaurus wrote:If lil kids are buying up all these bumblebees, I say keep them coming.

Blurrz wrote:Nice... Wave 4/5 and we already have two Bumblebee molds, one Bumblebee remold, and three Bumblebee repaints.
The worst part is that said Bumblebee remold is shipped alongside the original, and will probably ship with the new repaint as well.

As I understand it, the Vehicon, at least in Wave 1 Cyberverse, has the same amount of figures per case. But in waves 2-on, Bee is still 2 per case, while Vehicon dropped back to 1. Though I honestly can't notice the even case packing in store isles, as there are just Bumblebees littering the shelves.gothsaurus wrote:Well, I'm SURE they sell more Bumblebees than your regular cast and crew figure like Ratchet, etc. BUT I agree with you. They're WAAAAY overpacked. I wish they'd overpack the troop builder figure instead. I get sick of hunting them.
Though I'm to blame for some of them, stocking up on Vehicons and all.

I can't very well say "Another crappy shelf warming Bumblebee that no one wants and kids will be ridiculed for having because he is not yellow like he is in the show, CRAP Bumblebee repaint.

Come to think of it, we never got a Marlboor or Slicer for Classics. Come on... hop to it Takara!

I'm personally hoping for a Slicer in the 2013 Generations line.gothsaurus wrote:Yeah, with two fan-favorite repaints to pick from — ie. Malrboor and Slicer — I'm sorely disappointed in this repaint.

I mostly agree with you, except I kind of like that Rick Astley song.

Seriously, the kids must love the hell out of BB, since Hasbro make so many of a once scout who, in the cartoon, was always being caught..........

Man, we never had those two cloggin up our shelves here in SC. Kup was the only Generations figure that really stuck around.
