I think the reference to the common origins refers to the Primus origin thankfully, as the Primacron origin is one of the stupidest ideas of the franchise and really takes away from the Unicron of the film. But then what do expect from the cartoon series that gave us crap like Kremzeek, Alpha Trion, Lord Chumley and a slew of animation errors.

Megatron Wolf wrote:i still dont understand why they let unicrons head orbit cybertron, we're they to lazy to try and get rid of it or did they just miss their moons so much that they decided to turn unicrons head into a new one? Good mosaic none the less.
They rectified that in Ghost in the Machine.... did they? The TFWiki says it was blown away beyond Cybertron's gravitational pull on one page, and that it's blown back into orbit in another.

They decided to use Unicron's head as a grim reminder of a catastrophic entity that almost destroyed their world.

And if you think about it... its a pretty damn good "No Tresspassing" sign, especially of other races know of Unicron. I wouldn't F with cybertron If I saw that orbiting it.

What? Alpha Trion's awesome!
The one criticism I have of this Mosaic is that Unicron's head looks WAY too big. The chin looks like it's dipping below the spires and his cheeks are about to smash into them.

Unicron's head is gone in Beast Machines (as referenced by Rattrap) so the orbit decayed and it either was flung out or fell in. It was still a presence enough that the Vox used it's likeness to communicate to Primal as a symbol of authority and intimidation in Beast Wars.
EDIT: JEEZUM CROW ALL OF THESE QUOTE BARS DIDN'T WANT TO WORK WITHOUT MASSIVE EDITING!!
