Transformers Generations Deluxe Hoist and FOC Thundercracker on the way? Based on the box art mirrored below form TFW2005 user Juise it would appear so. Hoist was a given after Trailcutter was unveiled at last month's Toy Fair and the announcement from IDW that he would be getting his own Transformers Spotlight comic. Coming as no surprise we see the FOC Deluxe Starscream mold in Thundercracker deco.

I am not seeing Skids. It looks like Trailcutter to me, but the black looks slightly blueish.
Also it looks like Clayton Crain is doing all of the art work. I know he is doing the cover to the Hoist 1 shot, but this looks like his style across the board. Clayton is also doing the card art for Marvel Legends.

Why does Trailbreaker [cutter] have a Decepticon logo? They should fix that before the final product.

My 5 year old son just noticed this when looking at the picture of the supposed "skids" redeco. Anyone notice it has a decepticon emblem on it? It can't be skids. And yet, I feel embarassed that a five year old noticed it before me.....

That Hoist kinda sucks too as it does not look like it would fit in w/a CHUG collection very well. Especially when he, along with Trailbreaker, will be the size of a RTS or Classics Bumblebee, but more hollow. Where is his tow package?

Okay, did a little edit regarding Skids. However this piece of art is different from the official imagery of Trailcutter. Different color visors and a Decepticon symbol? There's definitely a blue version of the Trailcutter mold on Metroplex's box art.

Yeah it would be nice if hoist had his little trailer like bumblebee and cliffjumper had their jetskis
Re trailbreaker Tho the blue and gun say skids, I think when they come to do a skids homage they'll focus on his being lanky and his doors becoming wings
My only complaint re Orion pax is the vehicle might be too earth like
I'd really like a new classics set of leaders at this point. I have the crumby deluxe op and galvatron as my leaders.. Never thought Meg's or voyager op were worth the expense...

I love that thundercracker artwork. Every time I saw the seekers it boggled me at how they looked exactly the same except for their colors, but this time his face looks ever so slightly different to warrant calling him a different character; it's just great. Probably won't be reflected in any toys, but still, it's cool.

Now that we have confirmation that they're (at least) trying to make FOC Seekers, I'll make sure to pick up Starscream when I get the chance.
Hoist was a no-brainer.

I'm liking this artwork. Kinda reminds me of how the G1 art didn't exactly match up with the actual toy, but still looked cool. Same deal here. 
Yay Thundercracker! I wish we'd get a Skywarp too, but maybe I can spring for the Takara one. All the rest are buys except maybe Hoist, if he's just a simple repaint of Trailbreaker.

The character has been MIA for about 3 years, it would be interesting if he did get a Spotlight, but really there are a bunch of characters in the IDW-verse who are more deserving at the moment.

Hoists head is pretty much foc brawls in fact i wish that was foc brawls body.

It's neither Skids nor Rumble. It's Trailbreaker. The "blue" we're seeing is just a lighting effect. The red Deceptivon logo is more than likely a mistake in the drawing phase. And if the toy has a red visor, it's probably an homage to the original G1 toy.
And for those saying that they don't match up with their package art... I have yet to see one Transformer package that depicts an exact match-up (other than stock photography) of the figure it's advertising.

I hope you can move those Trailbreaker/Hoist weapons arounds to make it more G1.

Nuh uh. The toy will most likely be IDW Thundercracker, who currently shares a body-type with his WFC/FOC counterpart. The FOC phase of the Generations line will be over after the Wrecker combiners come and go. The inevitable Takara FOC Thundercracker for my ancient Cybertron shelf. The Hasbro version gets a new head and becomes Generations Triggerhappy. Nuff said.
And while this mold isnt the best representation of Hoist, at least it is better that ROTF Hoist. I hope it has a tow hook of some kind and no guns in alt mode.

Tell me about it. I'm in desperate need for a Classics Voyager Optimus, and I was very optimistic (no pun intended) about him being Voyager-scaled to match against the Voyager Megatron without giving in to
scalpers.

I third that. The art looks SO GOOD, but the toy does NOT look like the art. The proportions are so funky.

I didn't want to buy Thundercracker, but now I kinda do, just to call him Frederico and have him be a character from the RID/Car Robots continuity just as an example that it doesn't really matter what you think is intended, or what is written on the packaging or press-releases, re: names or continuity.

Also, RiD and Car Robots aren't the same continuity. Car Robots never gave any indication of being a different continuity in Japan, with it's characters having come form the future.

This could be the best classics line yet, with re-introduction of classic (pun intended) like orion, bee and megs in the IDW lines. I sorta hope Ironhide and Ratchet get a new IDW toy.
I missed classics Ironhide/Ratchet but they not that good anyways.
As for Thundercracker... I swear Skywarp will stay a Takara Exclusive just like what happened in DOTM. Oh well, time to pre-order Takara Skywarp.
