He took to twitter for some fantastic photos and a review for the next release in the well recieved Deluxe line up.
MrBlack wrote:The figure looks the part from the show. She can hold Maccadam's hammer, although the grip is a little loose.
Articulation is what you would expe t from a Deluxe, although the ankle tilts are SUPER tight. The heel spurs help to balance the figure well, which is good, because...
*sigh*
I guess it could be worse. It does have a bit of an insect body look to it, which is kind of cool.
Compared to her sisters, she stands up well. Less, um, curvy than Generations Arcee, but not as buff as TR Arcee. A slim, athletic look.
Some backpack shots with other female bots.
Get it together, Hasbro.
Transformation is pretty good, although getting the hood and windscreen lined up can be a pain. Love the tiny, body car mode!
Really, what did you expect?
Some comparison shots with her sisters. More shellformer-y than Gen Arcee, but less egregious than the Earthrise version.
Bottom line is that it's not a perfect figure, but it's fun and incredibly cute. I'd definitely go for this over Earthrise Arcee unless you're looking for a more G1 look.
All photos couresty of Seibertron user, MrBlack.

Regardless of her flaws (and the ER), I'm looking forward getting both of them in my collection.

MrBlack, Titans Return Arcee might look less buff if you popped the shoulder struts in properly

TR Arcee's head is a great rendition of her face while looking more like a transformer than a fembot. The partsforming, which I have no problem with, gives her a functional shield that looks pretty cool. The only way to make it better would have been to include a sword that sheathes into the shield piece since the accessories with the T30 mold are not 5mm compatible.
Well, for me TR Arcee is on the same level as Binaltech Arcee.
"IT'S MA'AM!"
I find TR Arcee horrible but I regret having missed out on her. She would pair marvelously well with my Binaltech Arcee. Maybe I'll luck on a deal one day...

1. I've had T30 Arcee for 5 years, played with her a lot, taken her traveling with me, and the only thing that broke was one of the thumbs (and that was probably due to someone else smushing my bag in the car, considering that was in the first year I had her and the other one is holding up just fine).aronjlove wrote:I know everyone says TR Arcee is just another Blurr retool but I think it is the best one available and wish it were easier for others to get. 2. You're actually dead wrong about the T30 accessories not being 5mm compatible; I've stuck the swords and guns into 5mm fistholes just fine.

ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Oh, that's hardly fair Kanrabat. TR Arcee is made from the most slender TR mold (one that even basically has high heels because of the foot design), was retooled to have more slender upper arms, and was allowed to have Arcee's actual face and be pink. And hey, it makes Headmaster Arcee (supported by canon before the Legends comic) a reality.
Well, she's not as "MA'AM" as the Binaltech one, but she's still "MA'AM" nonetheless. Abby-like look aside, the advantage is that she's a proper transformers instead of being just a shellformer like most fembots are.

Hasbro. Guys. It's okay to integrate car parts into Arcee's robot mold. She can have car shins or car part arms. Even Hot Rod has car parts on his shins most of the time.

It's especially annoying when, unlike T30 Arcee, this Arcee has big square legs and big square forearms ideal for integration. Hasbro simply took the easy way out and made one of the purest shellformers we've seen since Age of Extinction.

But that is not all. We also have new product images. We have some for the upcoming One Step Cybertronian Megatron and Ratchet as well as Ultimate Iaconus. It seems Iaconus shares some engineering with Ultimate Shockwave since the alt mode is him on all fours as well. However, while Shockwave was a tank, here Iaconus is ... something else? It's not clear. You'll let us know what you think that alt mode is.
These images are also from Walmart.

*points at Iaconus*
Designer: Oh he's great! He turns into a city!
Manager: hmmm
Designer: problem?
Manager: a few, do you know how much we're going to sell him for?
Designer: Err
Manager: We also sell Titan Class toys for about $180, they turn into cities. We would people buy them if they can get this guy for 80% less?
Designer: I don't think that's how the fans are going to look at this...
Manager: No we can't have a city at this price. We'll do this instead.
*manhandles prototype*
Designer: but...
Manager: There we go.
*Puts toy down*
Designer: but...
Manager: Stick a few rocket boosters on there and he can be a spaceship or a tank. Ohh there's his gimmick, he becomes whatever the child wants! I'll get marketing on it right now!

I give you the 1980's because those Distribution au Consommateurs catalogue were AWESOME! Then again, those photos may have not been made by Hasbro but by the store company.
As for the Cybertron years, I can't tell because I started collecting only in 2010.
Look like I started collecting just in time when Hasbro photographers stopped giving a fak.

Alphastrike would be a cool option, and would give us another fembot. Though, while not gigantic, she still might be too big.
Astrotrain would probably be too big, too.
Or, hey, maybe it's the Quintesson Scientist! He'd be doable as a BAF.

I'm surprised there hasn't been any news of an Astrotrain figure yet. Hopefully they don't decide to skip him because the Earthrise figure is still on shelves because I really like his design in the show.

If they drop the BAF pieces, I doubt most would like getting less product for the same price.

This image appears to show the set at retail, and given that previous "Cybertronian Villains" sets were Target exclusives, its likely it was found at Target, though there's nothing in the picture to confirm this.
Next up is from an eBay auction for a Seeker Multipack first rumored earlier this year. It features four Seekers who are redecoes of the recent Warrior Class Starscream figure who had a Cybertronian altmode. Included are Thrust in a color scheme more reminiscent of his G1 incarnation, inverted, though with a healthy dose of yellow; Skywarp in her show accurate mostly purple colors (Skywarp is female in Cyberverse), and Thundercracker and Starscream in more traditional decos (until you get to the wings). Interestingly, Skywarp and Starscream are both packaged in jet modes, while Thrust and Thundercracker are in robot mode.
Let us know what you think of these new figures, and whether you'll be purchasing them if you see them at retail. As always, stay tuned to Seibertron for the latest in Transformers news!

After Splitstream and female Starscream in the French dub of the 1986 TF Movie, I think that the Seekers can gender-swap with absolutely no problem. And without changing body type that much if at all too!

Second reaction: Aw man, none of those decos in that set match with any of the Monsterbots/Energon Masters seen onscreen. Unless their names are given somewhere on the box, they're all just generics. No Repugnus, Stinkus, Coolus, Hippus, Raddus, Operatus, Affluous, Fabulous, or Teknicus.
Nova Storm and (most of the time) Acid Storm are female in Cyberverse too (I say "most of the time" since there were a few shots in Season 1 where Acid Storm was rendered with a male Seeker design instead of the female one that she had more often and ultimately settled on in Season 2).-Kanrabat- wrote:Skywarp is female in Cyberverse.

As I understood, Acid Storm was genderfluid, so that's why they switched between male and female. At least, that's what the writers said (to cover the animation inconsistencies).

I hope it was tongue-in-cheek sarcasm from the writers because genuinely pandering to the woke fringe never end well.
I'm still curious how Starscream (and Ratchet) would have been written if they were female since day one in G1? Would Ratchet have become a "sexy nurse"? Would Starscream still be a schemer, a coward, and Megatron's punching bag?

Seeker set looks cool, interested to see a price and also see if it goes on sale. I think I want those.
also cool that the female Skywarp is getting a toy. It is nice to have the gender differences in the seekers.
That is gonna be a great set. Though I kinda wish Slipstream had got a better toy, she deserved it.
