I dunno, I'm a bit iffy.
I think they should wait a year.
Take some time, get a tight story together.

Also they could start on the movie earlier to begin CGI Work on Unicron cause they had a time with Devestator and he was just a 100 foot tall combiner now here we are with Unicron who is a Planet-Eater the size of a small asteroid with a Robotic Mode.
Also if you Remember Tony Todd in Revenge who voiced the Fallen he also played in Babylon 5 -A Call to Arms he played Captain Anderson of the Charon then upgraded to the Victory. Also he was in Resident Evil also I think as well as Candyman.
I dont wont a whole lot more more Robots in the 3rd one but I would like a bigger Autobot Team I am always tired of seeing the Autobots outnumbered 2 to 1 reminds of Jackie Chan movies where he is was always outnumbered.
It will probably take at least 6 to 8 months to finish production on this movie then you add in the CGI work for the bots and that is even more but since they are use to making these movies now I say it wont take that long but I want them to take thier time on this movie espically since it is the 3rd film.
Plus I am in no hurry for the 3rd film but I wanna see it more than the next guy does but with War for Cybertron coming out and the new series I can wait for a little while for TF 3.
This will be a big deal for me cause it is my 25th anniversary of Transformers as I was 4 or 5 years on when Transformers was launced in 1984/85 now when TF 3 hits in 2011 I will be 30 years old meaning 25 years of Transformers.

They need to just take a while to get the story altogether first(and without plot holes I.E. Constructicons).
Hopefully this one will have a lot less language and such. That part ruined alot of ROTF for me.

And I really hope that Unicron isn't in it. He's just too big. Yes, you need a main threat but remember Fantastic Four: RotSS? Galactus was too big and it ruined the threat and the human quality of the characters.
I'd like to see more character development with the TFs and still have those stylised action scenes that the franchise does so well

Plus Unicron was one of the elements Bay stated he had no interest in using, way before he started his disinformation policy's.
In all honesty, for the location shooting to start in May for a next summer release sounds like standard practice. Considering that shooting will take 6-10 weeks, plus special effects and all the standard post-production it's a fairly normal time table.

remember, this is the movie series that turned Soundwave into a 3 foot robot until someone thought the fans might be upset so they changed his name to Frenzy.
if Bay has any say, i'm sure Unicron will change into that aircraft carrier he wanted the first two times around. i recently watched The Matrix of Leadership collection and was shocked to realize there actually was an aircraft carrier character (though he was an autobot) so it would fit. the funny thing is he's huge in robot mode his first appearance and then the rest of the series he's like Prime's size or something. lol
gotta love the inconsistencies of the old show.

Broadside was one of the Autobot Triple-changers, but it's not surprising people forget about hims seeing the 3 'cons all got high profiles on the show, and only Springer was really given screen time for the 'bots. Also that one of the few episodes to give him a spotlight is Carnage and depending on most views one of the 2 worst episodes of the entire run.
Honestly I would love to see a Carrier transform in the next movie, It would blow Devs away, still be more believable than Unicron, but likely any toys would quite likely blow chunks.

Carnage in C Minor is one of the best Transformers episodes ever. My favorite part is when Galvatron and Soundwave are holding hands. Not to mention all the singing... to think, we were THAT close to having our very own musical episode.

They could use Buldgeon as the main villian in TF 3 also bring in new cons such as Scourge, Cyclonus and Thundercracker also new Autobots such as Ultramagnus, Hot Rod and Kup.
Triple Changers would be Astro Train, Springer and Blitzwing.
Combiners are Stunticons and Aerialbots.
my teams are 10 Autobots and 15 Decipticons cause the Autobots are always outnumbered. Plus we need Lazerbeak and Shockwave to be in TF 3 and if Bay wants his Aircraft Carrier to be in it then use Tidal Wave or Broadside.

YRQRM0 wrote:With the success of the second one (box-office wise, I know people hated it) hopefully they'll be granted opportunities for some expensive CGI and hiring some nice writers. I liked the second one, but there were too many plot holes, and a lot of the ending wasn't necessary. The whole riddle thing was really corny. Plus, it ruined a lot established in the first movie. I really want some great action sequences like the forest battle and Shanghai, and a decent plot.
What plotholes!? I dont notice ANY plotholes in either movie. And ive watched them thousands of times
