And in both modes.
Also, am I the only one seeing this?

That said - the thighs are really short compared to the shins, it looks kind of like she's on stilts. The protrusions from the shoulders are kind of high, but I guess they thought they had to do it this way to preserve the ship's silhouette.
And she may be taller than other Titans, but she's also a hekkuvva lot skinnier...

Those were only done with those who originally had them. As in, the City-bots.DeathReviews wrote:I'm glad they dispensed with the "3rd mode" of a base on these - those always seem to suck up engineering from the other modes and make them sub-par.

Just curious because I dont keep up with 3rd party add-ons.... Did any company make custom AIRLOCK connectors for The Ark?... If not I'm hoping someone is working on them now. Additionally I had heard several years ago that a company made custom TR connectors for T30 Metroplex, but I never was able to find them...

also seems to be lacking a bit of interactivity from not having a smaller bot or opening section but even with the lack of that really looks good. Only thing I'd change is the decepticon logons to to being purple with a white outline but plenty of purple as is. Doesnt look like it needs any add on kits to make it look complete or better

Even though I know they're not the same ship, I don't think there are enough differences between the Nemesis and the Victory for them to release it as a separate product. If add-on makers produce sets for the Nemesis, I imagine they'll include parts for Victory's thrusters.

(Ages 15 years & up/Approx. Retail Price: $199.99/ Available: Fall 2023)
The battle is evolving with the Transformers Legacy Evolution Titan Class Decepticon Nemesis action figure! The Nemesis strikes fear into the sparks of anyone bold enough to cross the Decepticon ship. She despises the Autobots and is poised to take down any who stand in the way of Decepticon victory. Transformers Legacy opens the portal to a whole new universe of -- More Than Meets the Eye -- bringing together every generation of Transformers like you’ve never seen before. Collect and combine different characters to create your ideal Legacy lineup.
Inspired by The Transformers animated series, this action figure converts from ship to robot mode in 36 steps and stands at 23.5 inches tall in robot mode. Includes ship tower, 5 blaster accessories, and 4 Seeker micro figures that plug into ports in ship mode. Ship wings split apart to become blaster and axe accessories. Scan the code on the package to reveal character tech specs and collect other Transformers figures to discover facts and abilities (each sold separately, subject to availability). Now available for pre-order on Hasbro Pulse and participating retailers.

I wish they did something with those pointy shoulders, as well as the fins on her legs. Also, in ship mode, that bulbous bottom on the front kinda reminds me of a turkey neck...

I agree about the shoulders. And it looks as if they are using those big spikes on the shoulders in their boast about it being "23.5 inches tall". Which seems like cheating. I generally don't count protrusions towards a figure's overall height. For me, when the robot is standing in a normal pose, it's the height from head to foot which is what I count...

That sounds like a good idea until you assemble furniture and find out the toys don't fit

It looks like they didn't even build in shoulder rotation, but the transformation design and stability may have contributed to that choice, too.
Edit: scratch that, there is at least one stock image with limited shoulder rotation, I missed that.

Those flaps on her back can probably be folded.

It isn't great, but it's there. If it's a full rotation then simply closing the wings a little will fix any restrictions.

DeathReviews wrote:For Legacy Shrapnel's gun/leg accessories: Like many others, I was living in blissful ignorance until this difference was pointed out. That is kind of subtle and I can see how it could be overlooked. It's a small enough thing that it can be ignored, unless you're the kind who is annoyed by any lack of symmetry.
Thing is, if you are one of the (seemingly many) unfortunates who have fallen victim to this mis-matching, what can you DO about it? Will Hasbro send out replacement parts if you contact them? Or will you have to send the whole figure back, and they'll send you out another, and risk them doing the same thing all over again? We know what the problem is, but affected persons don't have a solution.
Perhaps Seibertron could set up an "exchange" thread, wherein people who have these mis-matched accessories can compare them, find compatible mis-matches, and arrange swaps online? If it'll start the ball rolling, my Shrapnel figure has two copies of the "4" stamped leg/gun accessories. If there's anyone out there who needs to swap out a "2" or a "3" copy of theirs, and get a "4" replacement? Let me know and I'll arrange for my minions to make the trade!
Perhaps the code stamps on the box can shed some light on which pieces we're getting with the figure.

is a twisted take on this?:
I really wouldn't put it past Hasbro if there was at least a little bit of influence here.
Also I really want to see Tow-Line repainted into Robot Masters Wrecker Hook to go with the upcoming Straxus.

Is Straxus definitely happening now? I remember a listing was leaked a couple of years ago, and he was intended to be a Leader in the first year of legacy based on his most recent comic design, but he was replaced with Transmetal 2 Megatron. Has another leak come out recently?

You can still get the Ark pretty much everywhere at a reasonable price.
The thing seems to have been over-produced so he's on perma-sale at many places.
That is, depending in what country you live, of course.

I wouldn't call anything definite until we see it in stores, but there's usually some truth to the rumors even it does mean they get shuffled around. With Jhiaxus in 2022 and Tarn in 2023 I think 2024 could be Straxus' year as the next semi-obscure Decepticon sub group leader.

If I hadn't just ordered the Hiya Ghidorah figure and Hot Toys ROTJ Darth Vader I'd be all over this. But aside from my wallet, I don't think I'll have the shelf space...
So she's about 23' tall with all the shoulder spikes and everything...does that mean she'll be eye-to-eye with the Ark figure?

Silly question, but why get her if you're planning on never transforming it? Why not a non-transforming model of the same size should one be released?

Probably because there's no guarantee of the latter ever happening while this one is for certain getting released and could be the only large-sized release of the Nemesis we may ever get from Hasbro/Takara.Jelze Bunnycat wrote:AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Relieved by the final colour palette. Fun fact: My Beast Wars MP collection? Each has only been transformed once since I bought them. MP-32 (2016) to MP-50 (2020). Personally, for the price point and fiddly nature of some transformations (points to Dinobot and Megatron) I'm apprehensive about doing more than a pose and dusting.
As far as Nemesis goes. My City Bots are permanently in City Mode. Because they are too big/tall to be practical Transformer figures. Same would apply here. As said, I like the Bot Mode. The aesthetic reminds me of Beast Machines Vehicons. But space is all important.

Honestly I'll probably do the same. I only transform the Ark to robot mode on very rare occasions, 95% of the time he's in ship mode, positioned upright to look like it's on a launch gantry. I mostly started doing this because Combiner Wars Devastator has been the centrepiece of my collection for nearly eight years now, and having a much taller robot standing next to him on the shelf just didn't feel right. The Nemesis will most likely be the same, I'll transform her every now and again, but most of the time she'll be in ship mode and positioned upright. That's why I'm happy that the ship's bottom fin can fold up, so it doesn't take up too much room on a shelf.
