Is it that hard to hide that panel that hides the head? It's such a turn off.

He sends out more of a mecha vibe than a Tansformer. Like he's a grunt Mech from some anime I haven't seem. :-?

I appreciate the effort that goes into something like this but it doesn't interest me. I wish third party's would focus on making Characters we don't already have.

Interesting. Robot mode looks nice. The dude looks deluxe class. Unless this is a surprise HasTak they actually managed to not talk about, I think we can kiss $30 goodbye. I hope it's a big name so I can order one. It's not too on the nose if Hasbro never intended to develope one, right?

Powermaster Jazz wrote:Talk about ridiculous. We already got a Cybertronian BB and CJ
You mean the WFC version? Unless I'm mistaken, this would be the G1 cybertronian mode. The elongated saucer thing?

Yes! If this turns out to be a bigger version of the Episode 1 Bumblebee, then I'm all over it. Follow it up with an episode one Wheeljack and Seekers, and my dreams will have come true.

Kinda glad this isn't something I want. I'm getting tired of paying $100 per figure.

Not that this doesn't look great. But there's just too much that I want out there between the new MPs ALONE.

Yeah HasTak aren't the only ones that make stupid ass decisions on what figures to produce, clearly 3rd Party groups have their share of brain-farts.

If it were a Hasbro product, all the haters would jump on the bandwagon and add it to their collection of 101 different Bumblebees.

Above, it was mentioned that this may not be the WFC Bumblebee, but it may represent the first toy with Bumblebee's More than Meets the Eye Part 1 mode. If this is the case my feelings on this figure change greatly.

WOW, way to attack the 3rd party manufacturers without so much as having a shred of evidence. Did it occur to any of you to look past the robot and check out the background. That's a table full of customs behind that bot. This figure was probably made for the enjoyment of the customizer or maybe at the request of a private party as a commissioned piece. If this, in fact, is the case (and I'd lay money it probably is) then this person has done one damn fine job. :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE: :APPLAUSE:

Now for all those of you who think this is a 3rd party piece bound for mass release and who decided to dump all over it...I'm impressed by your arrogance but contrary to popular belief you are not the center of the universe and are likely not the intended target purchaser for this figure so your rude comments were utterly selfish and pointless. :BANG_HEAD:

Um, I think its fantastic if they're aiming for a War Within design. WFC Bee and Cliff are kinda dumb looking to me, with their big fat bellies and all that. I love my Classics Bee, but I'm not paying 90 bucks for Cliffjumper, so if this is an alternative that looks good, then bingo, take my money please. :BOT:

I saw a 'War Within' Optimus Prime a while ago in the Titanium series.

Prototype for this 'War Within' Bumblebee looks pretty cool, though it'd be better without the flap behind the head!
Then again, this is the prototype, so hopefully that problem will be resolved if this figure gets released!

Well the Titanium War Within figures are kind of lacking. Of the several I've picked up the only one I really liked and have kept is Sun Storm. The rest, i.e. Prime, were kind of rubbish.

That's a fair point. As much as I would want to pick this up, I'm not spending more than 30 bucks. My wallet's kinda getting sick of me kicking it in the b*lls with 100+$ purchases from 3rd party companies. (But that's not saying I'm going to stop...lol).

I really don't think it would be $100 (assuming this is even coming). We've been seeing it a lot, but there's been small voyager or better, two-packs (albeit a little high for 3rd party scouts), and another Arcee because every damn Arcee has been 100+.

Pretty good looking. Always love designs from war within, hell the best thing a fan company could do for me is do some justice to Optimus from War Within, which FP is coming comfortably close to. But we already have a bazillion BBs on the market. What's the point in this?

Edit: I just noticed that the hips could be flipped the other way around judging by the joint they're on. Since when did fan companies start mis-transforming their own stuff?

I hope it's a 3rd party product. As I've said before, I would love to have a G1/MTMTE/WW Cybertronian Bumblebee. This looks nice, even if it is just a custom.

You want a War Within Optimus Prime? At least you already have the option of a WW OP made by Hasbro. The point is that fans want a WW/Cybertronian Bumblebee, and Hasbro isn't likely to tackle it. And they certainly won't touch a Volkswagen version. So G1 Bumblebee fans can only hope for 3rd parties to offer these versions, and therefore those versions are obviously the best way for a 3rd party to take advantage of a fan-favorite, money-making character.

Just saying, as many have pointed out, people other than yourself are getting tired of dropping a ton of cash every time a fan company drops the same character on us again. Also I wouldn't touch Hasbro's war within prime with a ten foot pole. That aside, Prime is obviously a common and un-neaded character as well, I just personally really liked his design the most out of all of 'em.

Still into it. Undercarriage junk happens.

Now what say we find out whose making it and if it's coming out. I don't follow customizers beyond transtopia, but I don't think they generally send "teasers".

My answer's pretty simple on 3rd party products...NO THANK YOU~ They are always overpriced and the only way to get em is through online shopping and I dont really trust online shopping. Yes yes you can say to me you didnt have any problem doing online shopping all this years but that doesnt change my stand on the topic.

But to those who really want this fig then I hope that this fig is a 3rd party mass production instead of just a custom.

I think it looks pretty nice, but I won't be getting it. Holding out for a VW MiniWarrior version of Bee, Cliff, etc, etc from iGear. Would buy a MTMTE MiniWarrior as well, but not going to spend the money on a deluxe or larger 3rd party product for this design.

I was going to say something along the lines of "Thanks for the paranoid interwebs rant Grandma", but your statement is better. Exactly, if the poster is all "conspiracy theory" about online stores and not buying 3rd party stuff, why are they here?

I wouldn't necessarily agree, but that's because I'm used to seeing War Within, IDW's ongoing series and have seen the first episode of G1 SO many times. To me, it looks pretty darn good, but its only in the sculpt state, let's see what it looks like painted, eh?

*I* don't, but from a good number of people's reactions: yes.

I do think the one from this thread is the best representation More Then Meets the Eye bumblebee yet.

And name one character who needs new molds *more* than our favorite underrepresented Bumblebee. :)
