It's a rub symbol, just peel it off! That is, if you actually get it. These guys a pretty pricey...

That's how it looked in G1, rubsign on roof, and logo on hood.

Like I said about Runamuck, I'll say it about Runabout. I fail to see the need for a rubsign when there's a ginormous logo right there on the car's hood.Metroplex79 wrote:freakzero1981 wrote:why 2 frickin logos, come on the one on the hood would suffice, damn it.

So what if the G1 toys had them? The fiction didn't use them on these two.
Anywho, like 'Muck, 'Bout looks great.

I've shelled out on an international membership (and will have to renew to get Runamuck) - these better be available for a reaonable amount of time - I want this, Runamuck and SG Drift, and one of my biggest pet peeves are these elitist 'short production runs'!

Im planning on signing up, but any idea if we get notifications on WHEN it is released? And i live in Asia, so your morning = my night.... so that should be a good thing...
Also, i expect it to be around US $60? (it'll be my 1st year signing up )
Also heard TFCC would be increasing the stocks significantly on runabout and drift. Dont care for drift though.

gothsaurus wrote:Yeah, I'll be getting these... and doing the backpack tuck I saw online. (basically folding the flaps behind the back, then tucking the missiles down into them.) Doesn't require any modification and locks the parts in tightly. Between that and the head swap, these guys will look great on the ole shelf.
Given that this is the Wheeljack mold, there should be pegs near the knees that allow you to attach the shoulder missile/wrenches there, safe, secure, and out of the way. You can then put the larger weapon on their shoulder, like the original toy had, should you desire.

I guess we might get some news on more Generations stuff at NYCC though.

wow. I never thought about that until you mentioned it. Aside from the new Generations figures coming out, and these three (SG Drift included), I have no interest in any of the Hasbro offerings until maybe Prime gets released.

price is no object, the real problem is i never open my figures,i would have to look at this thru a white box??!!then again its not really sealed so i would peel it off.but im so damn picky why even bother.no package no purchase.thats jus the way i see it.i hate that habit of mine...sometimes.

Hey Pete, glad to see you're checking out the news story. Just wanna address the elephant in th room about availability on this item. I have a great idea on about how to handle demand: When members renew or signup for next year's member figure, have an option for them to prepay for this figure as well. Persons already eligible for the current figure could be notified by e-mail to prepay as well. After deadline passes for 2012 set, open orders for additional figures with no limits on purchase. You eliminate thre birds with one stone, everyone gets a shot to get one, retailers can fill orders after deadline and you make enough to satisfy demand of one set per eligible member.
I've also PM'd you this info as well, and I'd really like to know your thoughts.

I actually like this idea, assuming it limits each member to prepay for only one of each figure. As soon as the costs are known to TFCC, they can then put the charges on each member's account with X number of days to pay. Orders that aren't paid for are then tossed into the general preorder. That's pretty slick actually.
To address the elephant, Pete has stated that the number of figures they've ordered done are "significantly higher" than last year's. So here's hoping!
