If you mean if Hasbro is releasing Frenzy and friends with Soundwave, it's a yes. We haven't seen how their decos differ from the Takara releases.
Let the FIRRIB debate begin!
I like how his weapons store in his pile-drivers. That's a nice-looking Ravage, but seeing the comparison with his Universe toy, I'm a little shocked by how much smaller he is.

Between USB, classics, and Masterpiece, there seems to be something off about all of them?
Maybe it is the head sculpts? I almost like BTS Nightfangs the best?

Already done: In the thread for the first announcement last weekend I suggested Hasbro take the opportunity of having them both in the same box to have the packaging and instructions consistently refer to the two collectively, the main thing I miss their Dreamwave story appearances.
As for differing decos, hope they're all the same as Takara's, but I for one would be okay with them recoloring Soundwave for accuracy to his original toy like MP Hot Rodimus, with a yellow optic band. Hell, follow up with a purple variant with Cassettes repainted into the Cobalt Sentries, Enemy, and all the background cassettes from MTMTE.
Actually, I'd seriously like to see color variants with Acid Storm: Many want the Universe camo deco, but I'd like a retina-scorching show-accurate deco, so why not put both in the same cases? That way everyone gets their pick, and completists who get both boost sales! Yes, I know there's probably some reason that's not a practical production plan. but now that we've known about Metroplex for a week, anything seems possible! Hasbro's likely moved on, but until they release a show-accurate Acid-storm, they're still technically pwned by CHMS in 1/6 of the visible-Seeker-spectrum. Just sayin'.

No disrespect to your post, X, but the same people that purchased the Takara version would have had an inkling that Hasbro would be releasing one ( i would like a Hasbro version and i have the TT) Those who haven't purchased the Takara version, along with the scalpers etc will be on TRU's case. Finding one may be slightly more difficult that you think.

And in places like the Malaysian TRU branch, there's no way to even get a Hasbro version of MP toys because they don't even bother bringing them in. It's either Takara or nothing at all.

As for the availability? Don't get your hopes up Rated X. It's still more like luck if and when a shipment shows up in TRU.

Thanks, Mindmaster. You are the king of images!
Ravage definately looks better with the group than alone. I think it's kinda nifty that they scaled him with the classics, in a way.
Now if only we had a deluxe class neo-G1 Soundwave figure (other than Sonicron).

Closest thing to stage I can think of off the top of my head is that Soundwave can use Frenzy's and Rumble's pile-drivers as arm-mounted cannons.

This toy is so bought. Debating whether or not to buy Frenzy/Buzzsaw and plop down another $60 for a gold version of Laserbeak and a blue version of Rumble.
Oh, wallet so broken...

Also, a little ditty I found somewhere that sums up my feelings on RIBFIR:
Rumble is blue,
Frenzy is red.
If thou thinkth otherwise,
THOU ART DEAD.

Actually, you know who IS dead? Frenzy. He died in the final issue of regular Marvel continuity, G2#12, and did do heroically against the Swarm, overexerting his UNIQUE SONIC POWER until he crumbled to dust. And the Frenzy that did all that was blue, and endearing, which is something I can't recall red-Frenzy ever being; he just had a copy of Rumble's powers and no unique character traits. The actual argument seems to be "Rumble is blue, and...was there another cassette guy in the cartoon? I guess whoever that was gets red by default". I, on the other hand, care about Frenzy, therefore he is blue. Hell, red Rumble was cooler too, since he had more options for creating earthquakes: the piledrivers, standing there and sending vibrations through his legs, or jumping up and down like a gooney-man!
And, I'll say it as many times as I have to, if official fiction would just acknowledge them having exo-chroma-image-inducers that let them change back and forth between the two color schemes, then everyone's happy!

Well, for starters:
-Blue Soundwave with yellow optic band (original toy/UK comics)
-Purple Soundwave (US comics)
-Enemy
-Cobalt Sentries
-Background humanoid cassettes seen in "More Than Meets The Eye"
-The Rumble with Brawn's color scheme in "S.O.S. Dinobots"
-Glit
-Sundor/Sunder(how are they spelling the FoC Autobot disk bird's name?)
-more Shattered Glass cassettes
-all grey to match energy draining from "Call of the Primitives"
-all red to match Hate-Plague infection in "Return of Optimus Prime"
-all yellow/gold/orange with electrum in "The Golden Lagoon"
-create new characters by 'seizing' KO color schemes, going all the way back to Four Star.
It doesn't matter. Some fans, myself included, will buy ANY cassette repaint, in hopes of getting reissues of the 4 combiner pair, and new Masterpiece sculpts of all the original G1 cassettes beyond these redos of the 3 Microchange designs.

Im basing that statement on the fact that I live in Miami where we have many TRU's. I actually had an MP-10 Prime in my hands about 3 times, just no need to buy it. But I must say I hate scalpers. These are the guys that cant earn enough flipping burgers so they turn to desperate measures to make an extra $20-30 selling MP figures on e-bay. And they spend a half of what they make in gas money driving around to different locations buying these things up. What chumps...

I think we're talking exclusively Frenzy and Ravage. Not Soundwave and other friends. So....
-Blue Soundwave with yellow optic band (original toy/UK comics)
-Purple Soundwave (US comics)
-Enemy
-Cobalt Sentries
-Background humanoid cassettes seen in "More Than Meets The Eye"
