I feel the spiky blonde-haired boy seems familiar, but I can't think of who he is.

*ba dam tshhhhhhhhhhhhhh*
Seriously, Megatron puts on a sheer negligee made by Knockout (I think) in the hopes of achieving the same effect. He only gets laughed at, so Megatron knocks out Knockout.

Maybe, but isn't there already a Kicker Kreon?Down_Shift wrote:Kicker when he goes all super energon?
This kid looks younger to me, anyway.

Seeing how the manga Rodimus and Kup look very different from the ones we're getting, I'm afraid these cameos are no indication of upcoming toys.
(Could they even sell Thrustinator at retail? He seems to be TFCC's creation, like Shattered Glass, so I wouldn't expect that Hasbro/Takara could)
But that "sheer" pun!

* - Regarding the blonde-haired kid's identity, Andrew Hall went and asked the artist of this piece, Hayato Sakamoto, who it's supposed to be:
An obscure Armada human, eh?Hydra wrote:I just called him up and asked him who it is.
This is a good one. Anybody figured it out?
It's a character from Armada, and holding a fish.
Incidentally, Sakamoto is also the artist who drew Thrustinator in that TCC comic we first saw him in, thus explaining Kreon Thrustinator's sudden appearance here so soon after his Deluxe toy's reveal.

*checks wiki, which brings up Sideways*
Oooooh. Wait, where's he in the comic? Don't tell me you identified him purely by that purple foot.
Incidentally, I wonder how they'd handle Sideways/Doubleface's distinct heads in Kreon form. Would probably just use that Galvatron helmet...

Not me, but someone else elsewhere pointed this out:Noideaforaname wrote:......... Doubleface?

If we ever see his face, it'll probably look like his standard Mini-Con-less head.Noideaforaname wrote:Incidentally, I wonder how they'd handle Sideways/Doubleface's distinct heads in Kreon form. Would probably just use that Galvatron helmet...
Not sure which helmet would work best for it, though, or if a helmetless look would work best.

First and foremost, turns out this kid is a girl.
Secondly, Andrew Hall went and confirmed who she is:
Hydra wrote:It's one of the kids from Carnival who was featured in the Micron Densetsu Sourcebook.
Apparently the character design was a parody of anime character "Sazae-san."

I didn't notice it before, but is Megatron on the ground throwing a temper tantrum like a little kid?
And I love how Wheeljack's creation evidently involved explosions. ...though one can imagine it wasn't entirely intentional.

See, this is how you do kid friendly and simple. But shockingly, it can still appeal to older fans.
But what do I know, I don't have all the business degrees under my belt that good 'ol hasbro execs do. Silly me.
This also makes me want to collect Kre-o. These comics are awesome

Also, Shrapnel/Sharpshot uses Mirage's.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Overlord (does he have Mega's lips?)
I kinda assumed the lips came from Overlord's IDW design, even though the chest design isn't.
Seeing Overlord makes me think we need a helmet with "ears"/pipes/antennae.

I still say Braver because of the wheels:

Mainframe lacks wheels altogether:

Turns out it's GoBots Buggyman based on G1 Beachcomber's unreleased red redeco, which will appear in the upcoming TCC prose story "Spatiotemporal Challengers" by Andrew Hall and Hayato Sakamoto (the latter of whom is the man behind these Kre-O comics).
The blue Seaspray is Man-O-War and the white Hubcap is Rest-Q.

Sabrblade and I did, and it's actually the second-last panel, as Japanese comics are read right-to-left, top-to-bottom.

So lets see:
Snowcat

Scavenger (?)
Dirge
Gigastorm
Rampage
Bluestreak
Jazz
Sideswipe
Thunderblast
Redwing (you can thank me for this one - see below)
Tarn

Some yellow/gold, purple, and black character (?)
It was mentioned on the Allspark when the last couple of comics went online that the artist who illustrates these reads the boards and was going to take suggestions as to who to put into the background of the comic.
One of my suggestions was Redwing, looks like he made it in. Some other suggestions probably made it in too.
But I'd like to see the Seekers show up including guys like Bitstream, Hotlink, Acidwing/storm, Redwing, etc.
