Soundwave comes from a listing from sponsor Robot Kingdom and Japanese website Red Mercury. The Bumblebee Cassette Pack also comes from Red Mercury. The Robot Kingdom listing gives us a date of September 28th so we should not expect to see these items before then at Target.
Soundwave:
Robot Kingdom: http://www.robotkingdom.com/e2049h061.html
Red Mercury: http://www.redmercury.co.jp/?pid=134711275#
Bumblebee Cassette Pack:
http://www.redmercury.co.jp/?pid=134711124
While these stock photo's are a bit blurry, they show us off their box and the figure, but Soundwave's base mode cannot be seen from these photos. It also for some reason shows the base connectors separate from the actual figure, despite them being permanently attached.

I can't wait for Rumble to get his buddy to hang out with.
Posted by noctorro on September 3rd, 2018 @ 12:47am CDT
I've been waiting for him to be made, but they didn't in Titans Return. But now I finally get my Rumble!
The classics was okay but had a lot of kibble. This Titans Return mold is perfect and very simple.

We did.

Didn't see that coming! I'll try to get this set mainly for Frenzy Rumble the blue one, but because I missed out on Combiner Wars Buzzsaw I'll happily add him and Howlback to my Decepticon shelf as well. My nephew will probably enjoy the one-step Bumblebee, so he can have that.

RiddlerJ wrote:Well, I guess one of the Buzzsaws can be repurposed into somebody else. Garboil maybe.
I'd repurpose the CW version since the gold on this one is more accurate to the original toy than the yellow.
But I don't have the original so this is going to be my Buzzsaw.
I also don't have Rumble yet thanks to only seeing him once in stores and Takara Tomy never releasing him. I need to grab an over priced one online before the price gets too out of hand.

I think Will was aiming more for what head is used: Stripes's (actually Steeljaw's) or Ravage's. I'm pleased to say, the latter is used:

Yes, but sadly the amazon japan preorder only ships to japan
I just checked, and it looks like that Optimus figure is available to be shipped to the US now. Shipping is hefty though, and for me, it comes out to 8,376 Yen total, or about $80. Not sure I want to drop that much.

Just to be sure, you're aware he's been heavily retooled to be more of a boombox, not just repainted, right?

We have been getting all target exclusives at either toysrus or ebgames so you should have no problem finding it in canada
And heres the amazon japan link to the legendary optimus https://www.amazon.co.jp/gp/product/B07 ... RJN5&psc=1?tag=seibertron00-22&

Oh yes, I'm well aware, but I prefer the look of the LG36 with the classic looking chest/opening deck and the red eyes in robot mode. Even though I consider the TR the *least* of all these 3, this change for BB is neat, but not enough for me to justify purchasing it again, or replacing the one I have, unless it comes at a lower price point, which I doubt.

Amazon JP has the figure for about $55 but is charging $25 for shipping. $80 is a bit much....

I know Americans are not used to pay for shipping. But when one want to collect imported goods, one must bite the shipping bullet.

I am guessing it will be the same if not more. HLJ is not cheap for shipping. All Japanese places have upped their shipping recently. But at least with Amazon, the price can still decrease. I anticipate a drop to 30% of the initial price. I am doing the preorder while waiting for the drop since as long as you have it on order, you get the cheapest price it was ever at. And if I find a better deal before it comes out, I can simply cancel the preorder no questions asked.

Me, both.
As a Canadian, I pay high shipping cost for EVERYTHING. And ordering for HTS is ludicrous with their 30$ base shipping price for a pack of bubble gum. And finally lol @ random custom fees that charge taxes PLUS an extra 10$ for the minister's jacuzzi.

LOL, I love how we get a specific 10$ charge to pay the customs agent for their time calculating how much we owe the government.

I see that 10$ as some sort of "bannana republic" bribe.

There's a way to not have to pay for shipping.
Just fly to Japan and bring an empty luggage!
But then, customs will STILL shaft you upon your return even after you have paid the local Japanese sale taxes.
THERE IS NO ESCAPE!
Seriously, if one really want an imported thing, shipping should never be an issue.

In other Transformers: Bumblebee movie news, Target has released their list of the top holiday toys, called Bullseye's Top Toys. The toy cannot be ordered yet but this means we can expect these toys soon and them to be heavily promoted at Target.
Here are the reissued masks:
Here was the previous release
Which was a redeco of this initial product

So I did the preorder through Amazon as well. If the price drops, do they notify you? It's hard to keep track cuz the price they advertise isn't the price they ultimately charged me...I'm guessing they had to back out the Japanese tax?
