Won't just be a rerun of the episode in comic form.
We'll get to see more of what was going on with the Cons and, as that script preview shows, other Autobots.

So I gather this new series will be full comic size also? I can't wait!

Now will this series be in-continuity with the show, or will it be its own universe like the past comics?

I believe it is to be fully in continuity, but don't quote me on it.

Thanks for clarifying that up WhiteRabbit, I forgot to mention it.

And some clarification may be needed, but I believe it was explained that the cover seen On Denton's blog was originally promo art drawn by Marcelo for Hasbro. When IDW saw the art they loved it so much they convinced Hasbro to allow them to use it as a cover. There is also a "mirrored" image of the Animated Decepticons facing the Autobots that goes along with the image we've already seen. Both images were used as standees placed near Hasbro's toy cases at Botcon.
*Edit*
Here's a pic I took of the Autobot standee.
And I didn't get a good pic of the Decepticon standee, but you can see it on the far right side of this pic.
