glad we got a coupon code but aren't hasbro exclusives, like SDCC items, normally excluded from coupon codes?!

I don't think so. HTS does some dumb stuff, but they wouldn't create a coupon code to promote SDCC and then forbid you from using it on SDCC products.

I'm pretty sure I used promo's on last years SDCC purchase... that or Hasbro screwed up in my favor. The bill I have from last year's deluxe PRID Optimus says I paid a grand total of $19.45, after tax. $17.99 before. Pretty sure the deluxe Optimus was listed for $20 on this site, so I must have gotten free shipping and 10% off.

FWIW, if you try applying the code to the NYCC exclusive that's still in stock, it doesn't work...

it was a screw up as i got mine for 18 plus free shipping with two codes i slipped in just before they then retroactively prohibited the use of those codes on the SDCC and NYCC stuff

the fine print of the coupon states in the picture you cannot use them on exclusives
