Seibertron.com member Zeds has just informed us that he's sighted the Transformers Revenge of the Fallen Walmart exclusive figures Ramjet and Skywarp at an area store in Canada. Here's the information he had to pass along:
Just back from Dufferin Mall Walmart and found the ROTF Skywarp and Ramjet (Starscream recolors) on the shelf! Price was $28.92 CAD each + tax. Happy hunting fellow Canucks!

Different head sculpts though. You are right though. They should have used the ROTF mould.

They normally get distibuted from west to east so that may be why you saw them last month. Did you submit the news story to the News mods?

Er... never. It's always Ontario/Quebec who gets Transformers first, and then it branches out from there.

Look at Mr. Hasbro CA insider here.
I don't think any place in the US always gets Transformers first, so I can imagine that the case in Canada also.

I don't know. I seem to remember releases in the past that were on shelves in the wet/left coast before they made it to the centre of the universe (aka Toronto). Don't you just love the regional disdain that we have for each other in CANADA?

Hasbro Canada is located in... heck I know it's Ontario/Quebec somewhere. Nonetheless it would be a hotspot for Transformers toys being released there. And I'll let you all know I've been a member of Cybertron.ca long enough to notice that most of and in fact all the time, the new toys always show up in the Eastern area of Canada.
Coming back to what First Gen said, there isn't a definite place where TFs are released in the US, but being such a longtime member here I've noticed that most of the time it's never on the West Coast or Central US. Also take in fact that Ontario/Quebec combined geographically is about the same as the Eastern part of the US, so with that, whether it's in Connecticut or Indiana, it's still in the general area of the Eastern US.
Bwahahaha I'm right, you're wrong

LOL, okay, hey if it makes you sleep better at nite, with that kind of rationale thinking you can never be wrong.
If you really wanna get technical, since both Canada and the US are in the same hemisphere.....

As for Canadian distribution, It's gotten better and we seem to see things about the same time (at least in the major cities) but in the past it was common to hear about things being released in the east first and then filtering out west.
As for being in the same hemisphere, FG, that really means nothing The number of times something is already sold thru in Washington state, found online, payed extra, only for Zellers/TRU to get them after just hurts. [cough]sunstorm[/cough]

One of the mods should have caught it then as it is sightings news. I would have been on the lookout for it as others as well. No worries they are there for those that want them. And not after the fact. 90 days to return them.
