Lethal Farce has posted an official image of Hasbro's Star Wars/Transformers 2011 Class III Series 01 quadchanger. The figure features four unique modes: Anakin Skywalker, Darth Vader, Republic Attack Cruiser, and Star Destroyer. According to their post the figure will retail for approximately $130.00, but that does not jive with the pre-order on BigBadToyStore which is listed at $44.99. They do agree on the release date of July. The official image revealing all four modes is mirrored below.

The Vader form at least makes for an interesting robot mode.

I might even have considered getting it if they had left out the Anakin form and its required kibble.

That would actually be a pretty impressive figure if it wasn't for Anakin's head.

If anyone wants a closer look there is a large image here.

It seems these are about as shellformer as you can get. Anakin's shield is basically the star destroyer!

Still need larger pictures to decide for sure, but it doesn't look too bad considering the limitations put on it...and the harsh reality that kids seem to be hooked on all things Anakin Skywalker right now. I get the impression that Star Wars fans are having the same issues with Anakin and Asoka right now that we TF fans are having with the over saturation of Bumblebee and Prime figs.

I have to say that I was unsure until I opened the larger image but, wow, I actually quite like it - throw in lightsaber storage and I'm sold!

Yeah, 'The Clone Wars' may have simplified the Transformers, but at least the series itself is awesome! (And if you don't want them, don't get them! Haha) I'm not that keen on the new-look Grievous/Obi-Wan/Anakin as I was on the previous figures (which I have anyway)...And yes, I am a Star Wars fan first!

Still, I'm really liking the quad-changer, especially the difference between the two Star Destroyers! The only drawback so far is that Anakin looks a bit too much like Pre Vizsla...Otehr than that..."Impressive; most impressive!"

The Quad Changer is actually really rather nice. Its a shame its a Star Wars figure, really - something that mad would've been great in Classics.

Something similar where Optimus Prime transformed into Rodimus Prime. Megatron into Galvatron or even Orion Pax into Optimus Prime would be pretty cool.

$130 is the case price, $45 is just the one figure so BBTS has it right. Lethal Farce corrected their article.

Easy pass for me on these. I admit the Marvel crossovers are a guilty pleasure but I have no desire for any Star Wars crossover.

The thing that makes crossovers suck is the stupid heads. Totally ruins the figure. I mean, isnt the fact that it transforms into a star destroyer enough to be a great homage ??? Does it really need a stupid human head ??? Would be great if a 3rd party company made new heads to turn these figures into cool new characters. Until then they will collect dust in TJ Maxx and Ross or make great parts for kitbashers.

And for the record, I love star wars. I just dont like doll heads on robots.

Beating a dead horse, but to me what kills these things is have them transform into Star Wars characters. If they transformed for Star Wars vehicles into Transformers characters I would probably buy them all.

No thanks, I haven't bought a SW transformer yet, and never will.

Now if they made Jurassic Park transformers, I'd be all over them.

At least then they'd be Earth vehicles, and dinosaurs.

How to take the middle ground on this one...well, for a ship that becomes 2 different characters (sort of) this quad changer looks a lot better than the split-in-two Millennium Falcon.

And like the Vader Death Star, I guess this is nice for Star Wars collectors who've always wanted an Imperial Star Destroyer that's not too huge and not too close to Micro Machines. Assuming this is $40.00 in regular retail, SW fans who splurged on the enormous Lego version will probably consider this thing fleet-builder priced by comparison.

The Anakin form doesn't add any kibble.

The Anakin form is the same as the Vader form, only with a head flip, small panel slide and a slight leg extension. The shield is the nose of the destroyer, and Vader can also hold the shield. The nose of the ship would be necessary whether or not the Anakin form was included and since Vader can hold the shield it is very likely that the toy would be nearly identical without the Anakin head.

They even use the same light saber. Only Vader's light saber blade fits into the other end of the handle than the "Anakin-mode" light saber, and you have to add that ill-advised fire shaped red plastic to cover the blue blade.

They look like they are wearing knee high boots....kinky.

Not been a fan of the crossover toys and these do nothing to change my mind. I do like how they got the two different ships so well represented but Im wondering if you simply turn the whole thing upside down and fill in the gaps in the side with something.

Oh yeah, these suck like Hoover vaccum.

I was unclear, but I meant Anakin and his ship. I would prefer if this was just Vader <--> Star Destroyer.

I find this interesting as I don't know if Hasbro has ever done a Star Destroyer toy before. The scale is so off that it would be impossible to pull off for the action figures. This may be a reason to just get it and leave it in Star Destroyer mode for SW fans.

They have done Lt. Thire as a Venator-Class Star Destroyer, but they haven't tackled the Imperial up until now. :-B

If done properly, as in a full-fledged crossover... I still maintain it'd be a license to print money.

Have they made ANY good Star Wars crossover's? I can't recall a single one that was good enough for even a kitbash. I agree with an earlier posted statement, either make these good or stop all together. Better to drop the series altogether and recreate the entire G1 catalog, Classics style.

Actually the first General Grievous mold was very good. I also am fond of the XWing fighter mold. I do have all of them (excluding repaints) and agree they aren't as good as normal TFs. however I also will always point out that- unlike Transformers- the designers do not have the luxury of tweaking the vehicle modes to fit in better bot modes. The vehicles are already designed and popular, so changing them could potentially rile the avid-and-much-moodier Star Wars fan base. The thing that makes these sell so well is the size: kids want the vehicles; parents see the full size vehicle price and go "Gak!" They see the smaller-yet-still-accurate SWTF and think, "Hmmm...same vehicle, plus there's a robot mode! And it's CHEAPER! I'll buy it!" And the kids are still happy because they still got the vehicle they wanted AND it transforms into a cool robot of a character they are familiar with.

That's my theory anyways. So I will give Hasbro kudos for trying and making due with what they have available.

Very well thought-out theory! I have most of the Star Wars Transformers myself; I think my favourites are Darth Maul/Sith Infiltrator, Darth Vader/Death Star and Fett/Slave I!

Obviously since the advent of The Clone Wars, the recent ones have all come from the show, which did knock the original line geared towards the films...I think now they're starting to retry vehicles and mechs from the films again.

Maybe with the release of Episode I in 3D next year, there may be other new film-inspired ones (to be honest, I want a Naboo Starfighter TF! Haha)
