All these toys are scheduled for 2018 and should be at the same price points we saw in the Transformers: The Last Knight toyline.

Crowbar being retooled from Berserker makes me think the Toyhax stickers will mostly fit him too and make the alt-mode much more detailed.

Didn't know of trash talk but he's my fave Starscream design and one of my fave TF designs ever (once I got used to him after a few months since the very first reveal of him over 10 years back) and this toy looks very promising from the photo.

- the head
- the lower legs? and feet
- the arms?
Is that the new standard now?

Gonna need some more images of that OP before I make a call on him, he looks a little...wide? could be the camera, the pose, or just a mistransformation, but he looks like he's been having a few too many energon donuts or something in that image.
Ratchet looks bad. Could be the angle, but he's appears really skinny with thick legs, and the big panel flipped down his back isn't fooling anyone.
That Starscream is tempting! I wasn't even thinking about grabbing him, I already have the voyager from the first movie and the leader version from HftD, but he looks really good, and that saw hand makes him pretty unique compared to the other figures we've gotten of him.

Got mine when Tesco did a sale a few months ago and had Deluxes for £14 down from £23. Of course it was all Wave 1 cos most shops still haven't gotten to wave 2 but I hadn't got Berserker by that point so was quite happy to make the purchase. He's fun.

To name a few similarities:
- The shoulders and upper arms being one solid piece
- The chest panels appear to fold in from the sides
- The front wheels of the truck are on the hips
This is purely conjecture, but it's an interesting theory nonetheless.
Also, to those worried about the proportions, most of the figures (particularly Crowbar) look pretty egregiously mistransformed. Crowbar's legs, for example, should be in a digitigrade stance like Berserker.

People shout retool too quickly whenever they see design points in common. As far as we know, Crowbar is the only one, the rest are all new molds.

What's interesting about the listings is the use of Starscream's actual name for his listing, but the other listing is for a character named, or codenamed, Radar, suggesting some of the figures may be using codenames, just like in the recent The Last Knight toyline. Who "Radar" refers to is unknown at this time, but we are hoping the official reveals are just around the corner!

I think Caesium might be onto something, since I just thought that the rear wheels might take some engineering cues from M-01 Commander, where the "middle" tires can be relocated to the hips, creating that double tire look that Movie Prime has.JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Caesium Salami wrote:Someone on another forum pointed out that Prime seems to be a heavy retool of TF4 Evasion Mode Optimus.

Crowbar looks like a good retool. I loved the designs of the Dreads and Wreckers. Now we just need Leadfoot and Hatchet in deluxe scale!

Agreed, though I sure would like to think this is a secret figure for the Bumblebee movie.

Looks like the chest should be on some hinges. I do wonder if the middle set of tires would go onto his hips.

The packaging also gives us some new info. Firstly, we see the generations logo. This may not mean that they are part of the "Generations" line per se, but more of an indicator as to the type of toy it is. That was previously done for the Age of Extinction film, where the toys were labelled as being "Generations" as well. While it might be confusing, it seems Hasbro deems it less confusing than their latest try at differentiating these toys with one steps and the like with their "Premier Edition" branding, which did indeed infer a comparison. So now it's back to "Generations" to let you now you can expect the same type of complexity.
The other bit of interest comes from the Takara logo on the box. This further solidifies the idea that, as with The Last Knight toyline, the Takara and Hasbro products will be identical for the most part, including the packaging (which Takara would then add a sticker to). This was originally hinted at by the lower Japanese prices we saw for this line compared to other Takara Transformers products. The prices for this line in Japan was the same for the Transformers: The Last Knight Toyline.
So seeing this trend of Takara and Hasbro releasing the very same products in both their markets, how do you feel? Does this further contribute to the notion that both companies truly feel the extra sales from collectors importing (either Japanese fans importing Hasbro or westerners importing Takara) toys from outside their market are not substantial compared to the savings of standardized toys and packaging? Or do both companies simply focus on their own markets without giving a thought to any activity happening outside it, be it beneficial or not?

Deluxe Leadfoot already exists. I paid up the ass to get the original, but it appears they now have a quality KO that does the deed. It has the Target paint apps of the unreleased Hasbro version and the head painted silver which looks way better than the original (unpainted) which goes for over $300 now.

Im with you on Hatchet. Ive been using the small version as a stand in with berserker as Crowbar to have the trio.

The chest might not be transformed properly. That, or it's meant to show the Matrix of Leadership like Battle Blades did.

How do you know it's a cheat chest?
It looks like actual windows and panels to me.

How can you even tell? That photo has horrible lighting and is low quality overall and you can't even see what color the windows are.
The chest still does not look fake at all not compared to say this.
Edit: I thought you meant the actual windows I see you mean the window frames or whatever their called I can see what you mean but Optimus Prime always has the red chest in robot mode
Look at the robot cgi and then the actual truck
Anyways it could also be a prototype on the set and the actual in package figure is the actual figure color, or the red parts sit under the blue if that makes any sense.

To me, it looks like a cheat in the same way Evasion Prime had a cheat that looked like legit windows. It almost looks like there is middle hinge in his chest. Maybe the arms and windows fold into each other?

Oh and Dino as well but that's not happening any time soon thanks to Ferrari.

For those unaware, this is a new voyager class figure of movie Meagtron in his Revenge of the Fallen body. It is part of the Studio Series line, a toyline that will feature Transformers from all across the different live action films, from the 2007 movie and even the newest Bumblebee movie. It also seems to be the way that Hasbro will be releasing the more traditional Transformers figures for the Bumblebee film instead of them appearing in a line just for that film. The 2018 Bumblebee movie line will instead feature the toys that are either simpler or gimmick based. Since Age of Extinction, Hasbro has tried to distinguish the toys that would interest collectors from the toys meant only for children and the Studio Series line will be used this time for this distinction. The figures should be at the same price points as the Transformers: The Last Knight Premier Edtion toys.

I can only hope that the 2007 design gets a redo of some kind too with some of the more modern engineering. This new one is awesome though and I can't wait to get my talons on it.
Well, I did it for you. So there is that. XD
