Thanks to a post from DaimChoc Reports we've found a video review posted by Liu Brother Mode Play aka 刘哥模玩 on YouTube for the new Flame Toys Kuro Kara Kuri TF-02P Power Burst Version of the vile leader of the Decepticon Justice Division, the vile voice of venom, the destroyer of deserters the megalomaniacal Megatron fanboy, Tarn! This amazing figure comes with an eye catching metallic deep purple finish, his standard double barreled fusion canon (compensate much?) and a removeable facemask. The piece was limited to just 200 and is currently listed as 'sold out' at most on line retailers but keep your optics peeled you never know what curve balls Flame Toys may throw your way. Enjoy the view and share your thoughts in the forum. As always stay tuned to Seibertron for the ultimate in Transformers news.

100% agreed, a Furai Model Tarn would rock.

Also I really wish we'd get an original design Megatron like we did for Prime and Starscream. Those Trigger designs are really cool and I wanna see how Megatron would look through that "filter".

While this is nothing new and the kit is about a year old, just wanted to share this. While I have been searching certain stores for the kits that came out this year, I went in to a hobby store and they had OP, Nemsis Prime, Thundercracker, Starscream and Bumblebee. I had been stopping by Barnes and Noble stores but out of the blue i stop in this store and they had them. So this will be my first kit to put together, cannot wait.

The funny part being that you could actually do that with the original toy. In fact, I thought that was the intended configuration way back when I was 6, but did Devy ever do that in any media?

Though thinking of the original toy makes those grape thunder-thighs all the more jarring, since it didn't exactly have distinct thighs, the way Scrapper and Mixmaster just snapped onto the lower wing.

This toy stands squarely in my will-never-own-in-a-million-years, but-still-very-happy-to-see-its-existence category!

One type of Transformers product that's not always seen a lot of notice is model kits. These are officially licensed items that are generally unassembled in the package, the draw being that you assemble and paint the figures yourself, much like Botcon Custom Clad figures of past years. However, unlike those Botcon figures, model kits aren't transformable figures, though they tend to make up for that by being highly detailed.

Flame Toys is one of the biggest makers of licensed model kits, and earlier this evening on Facebook, they announced a new line called "Furai Action", which are intended to cater to fans who like the look of model kit figures, but can't always spend the time to assemble and paint them. This new line will be shipped with the figure already assembled and painted in the box, with premium paint jobs and figure stands, so you can pose and enjoy them right out of the box- if my understanding of their announcement is correct. Their first figure in this line will be an IDW styled Optimus Prime, who appears to come with three sets of hands and his ever trusty ion blaster.

While the announcement of preorders wasn't entirely clear, it appears that preorders will start soon, be taken until December 15th, and be released in February of 2020. No word yet on pricing.
So what do you think of this new line, especially if you're a fan of model kits? Let us know your thoughts on this new line below, and stay tuned for more exciting Transformers news on Seibertron!

Thanks to our friends over at Flame Toys on Twitter, we have several new pieces of information for you regarding their Furai model kit lines.

Up first, we have box art for 2 of the upcoming/currently being released kits. The Skywarp kit is the 3rd use of this Seeker kit, following his usual mates Starscream and Thundercracker. He appears here in his signature dark purple and black, and his box art features a pretty nice piece of art of Skywarp blasting away. He is currently making his way out to stores. We also have the box art for the upcoming Drift kit, which is based on his initial IDW 2005 body style, ready to take the fight to the Decepticons on the blasted city streets.

After that, we also have new images of the upcoming IDW Optimus Prime kit that comes fully assembled and painted. The new images show us the box, some poses, and also the stand that he will come with to help pose it up and fight the Decepticons!

This Optimus Prime is a large extremely posable action figure that is a stylized version of his G1 body complete with a few movie and animated touches. He includes light up eyes and chest, and features a glowing matrix inside his opening chest. The figure is gorgeously detailed and painted, and includes a plethora of accessories.

He retails for around $450 and is set to ship out any time now, now that the final samples have been received. Check out the final in hand images of the sample below, and let us know if you will be picking this guy up below!

Flame Toys is at it again with their Furai model kits. They have revealed their latest Furai model kit, which happens to be another Optimus Prime, in this case a slightly stylized version of his G1 cartoon self!

This new kit follows in the footsteps of other Furai kits that include highly stylized figures like Attack Mode Optimus Prime and Starscream, and IDW bots like Autobot Megatron and Drift. The kit is a simpler model kit that is great for beginners, and provides a highly posable action figure.

This kit is a take on the G1 cartoon Optimus Prime, featuring some bright colors and some cartoon-esque weapons, such as his energon axe and rifle. The figure is highly posable, as is the norm, and with the special stylization, he appears younger than you might expect an Optimus to look, almost like he is a newly minted Optimus Prime.

The figure is currently preparing to go up for Pre-order, so keep an eye open! Let us know what you think in the comments section below, and stay tuned for more Flame Toys news!

Coming once more from Flame Toys via Twitter user @kurouwww_Hobby, we have some new in hand images of the currently being released Furai Model Kit Devastator!

Devastator is the largest Furai kit that has been released so far, standing tall and bulky and showing off his numerous construction vehicle components. He is highly stylized, similar to the Attack Mode Optimus Prime, Starscream, and Bumblebee molds. Some of his features include Scavenger's bucket being used as a punching addition, Hook's crane being used as a cannon, and a really sweet head sculpt.

He is retailing for around $80, and you can place an order for him from our various site sponsors, listed below.

Check out the images below, and let us know what you think in the comments section below!

What's up with Flame Toys and their obsession with DIAPER BOTS?
Seriously, those proportions are horrendous. At least Bumblebee was normal and awesome looking. But now, diapers or big "porn-star" packages (looking at you, Starscream...) everywhere.

I need to at least try to find that Bee for a reasonable price. I consider it to be a MP Action Masters Bee.

Maybe in hand. But I can't get over that absurd style. Still planning to get Bee. How is the solidity for posing and such? Are those kits "playable" once assembled?

For comparison I tried cheap High Grade Gundam kits. 2 normal bots and two waifus. The waifus are nice but parts fly over everywhere when posing. As for the bots, they feel like normal action figures.

Whilst I prefer the "Attack Mode" version of Prime, that more G1 version looks nice as well. The Obari-esque proportions work really well on him.

And goddamnit that Devastator is a work of art. He definitely needs paint though, at least for accent work.

I mean look at thins thing. Transfans on Facebook posted the official images of Flame Toys' latest non transforming figure, Kuro Kara Kuri Optimus Prime. While it heavily bears on the G1 aesthetic, it modernizes it with more detail and gives it an amalgam arsenal of Primes from all other media. For instance, it has the swords from the Bay films, the rocket axe from animated and the battle axe from the WFC game (which is an exclusive to D4 toys). It also has the starsabre and LED lights. Not sure of the price yet but expect anything between $250 and your soul. We have a few images below and you can view all of them by clicking here.
