New Image of Transformers Generations Combiner Wars Wave 6 / 2016 Wave 2 deluxes

Man... drag about Wheeljack looking all naked and stuff. I really wanted to like him. Hound's looking pretty sharp though.

Yeah.... Wheeljack looks like he could use some gussying up. Well, that's what craft paints and brushes are for, I guess. Hound looks pretty good. I hope all this means that they'll be early in releasing some of these figures (Christmas maybe for the Combaticons?). Making us wait to March 2016 just for a bunch of repaints seems a bit much....

After looking at other incarnations of Jackie, the windshield was the only thing to paint. other than his stripes and sponsorship logos he really is just mostly white. His hands and forearms are usually black.

That remolding done to look like a jeep makes it so much cooler. Makes him a little less Earth like too and more fitting for a cybertron role, so he'll make a nice addition to the MTMTE shelf

Not that I'm aware of, but he has that 5mm peg coming off one of his legs that I'm still not sure why it's there. Makes me wonder if there is another mode we don't know about yet.

If you fold the front wheel section down and reconnect his arms the way you would for vehicle mode, you could approximate a jet pack - which could then be attached somehow to someone.

Wish they would have made a different mold to go as a 6th member. would make the combiner better having a new legends guy. And given that Sky Lynx is in this, it would have suited him so much better to have a more appropriate legends, like idk someone else with a big ego and a small size

I just noticed this looking at Wheeljacks feet: his feet are molded to look like the front of the car! At least they did that little touch

Buzzsaw does seem to be the odd bot out, but the packaging has the CW logo on it. Hasbro is a crazy bunch aren't they? It kinda seems that the toy lines and fiction are just going to bleed into each other.

Those individual pre-orders went fast. That four pack is one of the first times I wouldn't mind picking them all up at once. I'm probably going wait to pick them up at retail. My area is currently getting flooded with the wave 3 & 4, but I have still yet to see a Viper in the wild.

I am excited for some new mold blood. Brawl and mini Shocks are buy on site; as is the heavy retool Swindle. I still haven't made up my mind on Buzzsaw. Is his third mode a fork lift / pallet jack crossover? I get a "I work in a warehouse" vibe from that mode.

They announced him at botcon this year, he is joining this wave - it wasn't a mistake, just a titan wars teaser. In fact it was his existence that corroborated the leaked blaster images as being legit.

Sorry to burst the beast wars bubble but I highly doubt they would go that route. Out of the cassettes all I see is 1 rewind repaint and 1 remold with a repaint, lazerbeak from Buzzsaw and ravage from stripes.

In an interview in the latest TCC magazine, John Warden was asked which combiner that did not make it into the Combiner Wars line at all would he have liked to have made it in. Predaking was his answer.

Rule 1: Hasbro lies. They release information on their schedule, and if they aren't allowed to reveal something by corporate, they will deny it to the moon and back.

That said I would really like to avoid getting my hopes up about an imminent CW Predaking. <_<

Is there any place that's selling Alpha Bravo or Firefly at regular retail price? All the online distributors have them at like $30 or so. BBTS and HTS are all cleaned out. Are we to assume from this that the Wave1 Arialbots are out of production?

At this point I don't really trust Hasbro to make a decent Prediking.

I would only get them if they were were usable with the scramble ports - they don't have to scramble, just be able to be equipped to a voyager and look proportionate.
