$150 (even way out in may) is too much for me right now. I got Hasbro pushing RID (and FOC soon enough), two more rounds of Giant, PE's take Arcee; something has to give. If I'm in a better place come late April (and he's still available) I'll go all in.
While this mammoth is beautiful (and I do believe he is freaking huge), he's on back burner duty.

Good thing that May comes after April then, eh?
In all seriousness, I hope you're able to get it.

I'm with Requiem, the next few months are pretty rough. Don't forget Hegemon in June! Looking at MMC's record with Knight Morpher, I think I'll be okay waiting for some early adopters to review. Mind you, I really hope this release goes without fail, because Cyclops looks BEAUTIFUL! That price just needs to be a wee bit smaller.

I've been looking forward to this figure for a long time. He will look awsome next to my mp-figs and combiners. Now if Takara would only get to making a true mp shockwave and soundwave I'd be set.....maybe....probably not.

Are these people laughing at us? I shudder to think what this will cost in the UK.
I want it though.

Cyclops, I had my flexability hat for compromises, like having a quarter of the boat for a forearm. But this I can't find any issues I'll just have to deal with.
I may forgo Cyclops all together and save my pennies for Screamer.

soundwave42 wrote:I'm sorry, but that has got to be one of the most uninspiring paint apps on a 3rd party Transformer that I have ever seen. For $159 you get grey and flat purple? Well two shades of purple, but they look very close to the same color. Please tell me it is a prototype! I really wanted this one bad when I saw it several months ago. But now it is an easy pass, unless of course that isn't the finished product.
Not sure. It is the first image of the final colours for this figure, so the only ones that know for sure are MMC.

honestly you are getting a figure engineered from the ground up in a style you will likely never see in a major retailer and for what the remodded official mp's will go for with larger production runs.seriously you want to whine go whine about pe arcee a deluxe for $100 bucks.
considering that you are getting a 3rd party release that from the info provided would equal or exceed the size/mass of unicron(the second largest tf ever made because lets face it herc is only primus sized dispite the hype) thats fantastic accomplishment and although i dont collect the HOS line i commend MMC for a wonderful addition to an already impressive line.
sorry for the rant just got tired of the complaining on the price

He'll have a Victoria Toy Fair exclusive color scheme... or that's Sixshot, I forget.

Gotta wait for someone else to try and scam it out before MMC so they're forced to give up some more details...

yeah, he's been working on that one for a a while.

The figure is priced at approximately $160.00 and scheduled to release in May. Check our sponsors for pre-orders.
Posted by cannonfodder4000 on February 24th, 2012 @ 9:33am CST
I know I'm nitpicking but for the price you'd think they'd give him something that's not as "old fashioned".
Posted by rpetras on February 24th, 2012 @ 9:39am CST
It would be a cool homage, and look more like the real craft after which he is modeled.
Much like the black and gold version of Prime.
My WALLET hopes they don't.

Ah, so that's where the photos from the collage on Robot Kingdom came from.

I was wondering when we'd get to see those pics full size. =) Looks slick and I can't wait to save up and nab him when it comes out.
