Lucky Draw Silver Version Of Animated Bumblebee

Takara Tomy has updated their website with new items that on sale for September & October 2010.
One of the highlight of this update is the Lucky Draw Chrome Silver version of Transformers Animated Bumblebee campaign.
The campaign runs from 18th September till 31st October 2010 at Japan's Bic Camera Store & Edeon Group stores. Within this period, any total purchase of Transformers figures (except EZ Collection figures) of more that Yen 3000 are entitle to participate in the luck draw contest to get this silver Bumblebee.
Total only 40 pieces of the toy will be available. Bic Camera Store is entitle to 20 pieces and the remaining 20 pieces are for Edeon Group customers.

Back in the days I had some parts chromed out on my car for cheap. I wonder if I took a figure completely apart and spent a couple hundred to get him dipped would I have a "Lucky Draw" ??? Gold plating is an art that must be done right, but anybody pull off chrome...

Funny thing is that gold plating would've made much more sense for Bumblebee. I wonder why they went with the silver chrome route

I like Chrome better than gold..
Though gold looks good on TF's. It's nice to mix it up a bit.

Nice, but it totally should have been Ironhide they chose for this.
