It also shows that MP-09 is overly complex after all!

And I thought I was gonna be able to skip this wave. Silly me.

You need Super Ginrai and Godbomber, at least just Super Ginrai!

Oh yeah, those two are essential! And perfectly in scale with WSTs, if those are your thing.

shame about the arm kibble, but at least it transforms acccurately to the voyager.

And he's even perfectlier in scale with Piranacon/King Poseidon!

We'll see how the Kabaya kit stacks up against MP09... knowing we'll likely have to pop pieces/arms/legs off to Transform Rodimus.
Hoping they can start to steer away from that trend with the Kabaya kits... and actually have them full-on-transform.

All i wanted was victory leo for my star saber (which is still my only kabaya TF) ... but now seems like i have to get all, just so i don't feel that I have extra pieces.
Marketing gimmick by Kabaya to make us catch um' all

Megatron Wolf wrote:why in the hell doesnt hasbro bring these over? Cut back on the useless repaint/slight remolds and give use cool little things like this. Back in the day you couldnt walk past a candy isle/section without seeing stuff like this. You dont even have to do the candy thing just package them like they do the dogtags and sell it in the card section.
Yeah... if hasbro does it it would start costing way more than it needs to. But it would be cool. Then again my country has a ban on gum, so no chances of getting it either way.
To the overpriced-collector-shops, away!

I sense sarcasm, but you get my point, there are way better things to choke on then model kit pieces.

True enough, but there's a problem. Parents will see these and think "Oh, there's a toy robot in there, I should buy that for my child." Or "My offspring is brilliant, such a simple model wiould be easy for him/her!"
And then little davey dumb@ss swallows a torso piece and chokes to death because his parents overestimate.
Somehow, Lego-type toys manage to induce a moment of clarity in parents.

Thats why they can print the words "model kit - contains small pieces, assembly required" Really, when parents see the word assembly required on a toy box, it goes back on the shelf unless their kid have built one before. They're trying to eliminate the possibility that their kid ends up bugging them to fix it.
Although legos is well-established enough so parents know they are buying a building-block set. I NEVER get Legos by accident as a present, although i rather legos then the books and thumbdrives i keep getting.

Kinder Surprise eggs come to mind

The chocolate's actually pretty good, but the toys inside have gone worse over the years. Now even jigsaws made ofpaper pass as a "gift".

There are no instructions on the box. I had to look at a picture online but I already had an idea since I have the original figures.

Really? Wow. I hate to think this but maybe he's not really meant to combine with Star Saber at all. I have the original toys and the Robotmasters but I'm just concerned about breaking it.

Pretty sure they're meant to combine. I did it with mine. There was a slight worry of stress marks on the clips used to connect Victory Leo to Star Saber's feet, but so far so good. Victory Leo seems clearly designed to connect. Star Saber is less apparent just to look at him, but it works.

Well it took me long enough but I've got them together. Do you think you're meant to take the Star Saber's feet off to properly attach the giant boots?
