Courtesy of Facebook user Oscar Fung we have some of our first in-hand images of Takara Tomy's Transformers Masterpiece MP-12G Lambor (Sideswipe) G-2 Version. This version of Sideswipe sports his appearance from the G2 Comic as drawn by Derek Yaniger including a newly molded face, weapons, and optional stickers. Check out the images mirrored below:

I'm so torn on stickers vs. no stickers on this guy. I love how that black lambo looks, but the stickers will really make it faithful to the original.

Of course, maybe I'll just sticker it up and hold out hope for a MP Deep Cover. It'd be so easy for them to do!

Thanks to fellow Seibertron.com user Cyberpath, we have some more images of the upcoming G2 styled Masterpiece Sideswipe, featuring new weapons, headsculpt and paintjob - both courtesy of designer Shogo Hasui, who shows how he used the comics for his work! Check them out below.
