I think a voyager or leader class Bonecrusher would be better.

Wish I could still crawl away after having my head torn off.

Anyway, I'll pass. I wanted a leader of him more than a redeco and perceived QA problems seal the deal for me.

Amazing, they actually succeeded in letting one of the crappiest toys look even crappier.

Seconded...

I'm waiting for the usual people to say "It's a G1 name, give him G1 Bonecrusher's colors!" at which point I will reply by barfing... :BANG_HEAD:  :HEADHURTS:

Agreed, they did it for Brawl, why not for Bonecrusher?

I hate the idea of Junglecrusher. Like c'mon, the guy freaking died.

And I know everyone wants a Leader/Voyager Bonecrusher.. Fat chance we'll get one.

Great review, but this figure is a pass for me.

My original movie-accurate Bonecrusher's got the same bad claw issues. Seems to me this isn't specific to the Junglecrusher repaint but rather a universal 'problem'. It's not as annoying as 'broken tab' 1976 Bumblebee, for the arm clicks back on as easily as it detaches.

I saw a custom G1 repaint of Scorponok. It looked really bad.

Could just be the artist and the colors used. If they toned down the greens and purples and oranges, it might be okay.

I stress the "might" part...

I also think that a voyager bonecrusher would be better, this toy looks plain awful, and the green isn't helping.

they should have made him an Autobot and called him Overhaul instead. the colors and theme (Jungle; "Jungle Planet Cyber Key") fit the character to a T. of course, the latter was one of the crappiest to come out of that hallowed line too, so i can clearly see the connection there.

I never could figure out what posessed me to buy Overhaul, I took one look at it and a little voice in my head said "wtf, that thing looks terrible, buy it!" So I did, and now I can't recall whatever happened to it... not that I care much.

LOL Jungle Bonecrusher has not been released yet, at least not in my area. I think JBC is like wave 6 or 7 or something in the Allspark Power line. But hey, no worries.

P.S. Even if it was already released I would not pick it up, it just looks terrible.

I actually prefer this coloration to the original (anyone else? No? Just me then...) plus I'm a sucker for when the toyline decides that a character managed to somehow survive and sneak away from what was clearly their complete and irreversible death, but I've never much liked this sculpt- it just looks odd to me. I will however, be buying the Legends version, if it comes out in UK.

heh, glad i got mine as part of a MISB TF lot sale, so basically i got it for free. i really am so frakkin' disappointed with this TF, great alt mode but sucky (and that's an understatement) bot mode.
