Toy Hobby Market & Ganbo-store.com now have their pre-order pages up along with more pictures of the Henkei exclusive seekers. Toy Hobby Market will be offering Henkei Skywarp; and Ganbo-store.com will be offering Thundercraker.

Both sites are taking pre-orders until June 20th. The figures are slated to ship in late September.

*Both sites have been experiencing a lot of traffic over the past couple of days. Sites links and pictures may not work properly.

As far as I'm aware there is no international shipping available from them anyhow, you're going to have to rely on a third party to order it for you.

Huh... suck - Say Tekka, You don't know anyone in Japan do you?

I hate to think what TFSource and *shudder* BBTS will charge for these, a two pack for $80 I could handle - maybe?

I wish I did know someone in Japan! It would make my Tekkaman Blade collecting a lot cheaper, sadly it is my most expensive hobby as well as my primary hobby. I have to rely on expensive proxy companies instead.

There's a thread you might want to see.

Has anybody or had anybody ever wanted to buy just one seeker, whether SS, or RJ's groups, and feared that they would be tempted to buy the whole set for a sense of accomplishment. I want to buy Henkei TC if the price is right, but I am worried about pressure.

so can anyone tell us what the exact retail price of the TC is on the website?

I know they do not ship internationally but just curious what the starting retail price is in USD?

anyone?
Re: Henkei Skywarp & Thundercracker - Pre-order Info (705684)
Posted by Tekka on May 22nd, 2008 @ 5:45am CDT
I suppose I did suffer from that.

I caved in and got Botcon Thundercracker with no plans to get Thrust or Dirge, but eventually my desire to complete the set grew to the point where I gave in and got them too.

Even if you start with just Starscream and Ramjet, the potential desire to spend your money completing the set will always be there, as you are demonstrating now. If your will isn't that strong I suppose you should be more worried.

For me it went like this:

"Skywarp, yay."
"Guess I'll get Starscream as well."
"Hmm, maybe I'll make a Classics collection."
"Go on then I'll fork out the money for Thundercracker..."
"Eh... I suppose I should get Thrust and Dirge too."
"Ahh, my credit card."

According to the most recent exchange rates, 3150 Yen = $30.45.

oh, I cannot read the site too well, but there is a 2500 listed next to the figure, I thought that would have been the price, closer to 23USD.

Not sure if Toyhobby just has much better servers but it would seem poor Skywarp isn't getting half the attention TC is getting. =( Which is a shame, he's looking so good.

True enough. More for me down the line I hope. Would love to pick up another one for a decent price somewhere down the line just to play with.

I would like a complete set of Classics Seekers but having not been collecting TF's at the time it was available for a decent price I refuse to pay out for the Botcon set as I'm not giving scalpers money under any circumstances.
Now Skywarp and Thundercracker are getting a release albeit a fairly limited one in the Henkei line I'll get Starscream to complete the original trio but will only get Ramjet if Thrust and Dirge also get released as Henkei exclusives.

Lol. I think Bugbite is less likely than even Thrust and Dirge, Dreadwing too for that matter, considering they're not even originally cartoon characters. Bugbite was even a Gobot. :P

Both sites take international credit cards, correct?

Like I said, my contact is in Japan, but he's military; our military & just currently stationed in Tokyo. His address is an APO AP address, will they ship to that?

So exactly how do I register on those sites? What buttons do I push in what order? Can I fill out my information, but just list my contact's address as the address to ship to?

Like, basically, can anybody walk me through this step by step, using my contact, who is stationed in Tokyo, Japan on our (American) military base?
Re: Henkei Skywarp & Thundercracker - Pre-order Info (705816)

I am content with classics Skywarp, so I will not be persuing Henkei Skywarp. If that answers anyone's question. Other than Henkei Starscream, which I have a classics version of, I will only be getting one of each character. I am hopeful for a thrust or a dirge. Specifically Dirge as he is my favourite conie.

I think I will get acid storm, if that's his name. I love Seekers.... Just a bit of a nut.

Sonokong is licenced byt Takara to redistribute there toys.

Brave Transformers, RID, BWII, and BWNeo have been done for Korea due to the fact that they were shown "late" over in Korea.

I owned several reissues from the Brave Series, and they were a million time better than the crappy KO's floating around. YEah there are some QC issues, but still for a cheaper price, you can find some hard to find RID, BWII, and BWneo toys.

Brave, well there staring to get a little scarce, and please don't have any real Takra boxes for Brave, you can make some serious dough.

Rumor mill is putting TC at a limited run of 2000 pieces. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

This would go along with the exclusive nature of the figure, but would blow donkey *blank* on the chance at getting even one.

I'm hearing two rumours. One that it will be limited to 2,000 pieces, they will be producing however many they get preorders for. Your guess is as good as mine. But worth finding someone to get the preorder in for you if you're interested.

No proof, but I’m betting it’ll be unlimited. They ship in September and that’d be plenty of time to make however many are ordered.

Somehow I’d be seeing July if it was limited.

There's gotta be some catch to that. I understand that its a Japan only thing, but I can't see these being super produced figures.

Remember, TT avoided doing alot of SW TC figs when the Robotmasters versions tanked big. Those guys aren't as in demand there as they are here.

I just had a guy walk me all the way through ordering Skywarp. Tomorrow, he's gonna walk me through ordering Thundercracker. That being said...

If you got enough translated to sign up for an account, and the only problem you're having is that the site won't accept English letters, then... Just Google translate what you're trying to type in to the box then copy & paste the translation into the box on the site.

No, these sites will not ship outside Japan. You'll need a contact in Japan to have them shipped to who will then have to ship them to you.

Both figures are 3150 Yen plus 500 yen for shipping to your Japanese contact.

Tekka... I got my invoice right away. You haven't received yours yett?

What will hurt your wallet is if you don't get in on them now. Once these get into the hands of online stores, expect Green Ehobby Ratchet prices to soar.

I've placed an order at two different companies, the one that got back to me faster was actually not Rinkya so I haven't heard from them yet either. But normally they are very good to me so I'm sure they'll get back to us soon.

Even though they are expensive I would like to get one from them anyway since they've done me a lot of favours, sometimes though I question the wisdom of my loyalty complex.

Hydra/blackgears.com lives in Japan and he was taking orders at $140 shipped for the 1st pair, $130 for each pair after. Don't have his information off the top of my head but it's in the allspark and tfw2005 thread. I've dealt with him and he's pretty reliable.

Bodhar2000 is also in Japan and he had it down to $125 a pair, $75 for one shipped. His information was somewhere in the tfw2005 75 page thread. He said he was limiting orders because of the hassle since this is his first time doing it so you can try to contact him also.

King Konvoy (sp?) on the tfw2005 thread also was offering it, don't know the details.

I've not heard from Rinkya yet either so I contacted this site which I've used several times in the past for buying items from Japanese stores ,

http://www.m-world-service.com/index,html

Masato got back to me within a day and he's currently checking out the details and will e-mail me with a total once he's got the order in. The cost of each figure works out at approx £15.26 plus approx £2.42 for shipping to Masato then there's his commission and whatever it costs him to ship the items to the UK.
These won't be the cheapest TF's I ever get but they'll still work out plenty cheaper than the Botcon set which is the main reason I'm getting them.
