Personally, I'd given up on some of my local and/or surrounding area's retail stores to get anything in. Either nothing's being ordered or they just can't get the merchandise in. My local Wal-Mart got in a special cardboard display (so much for going green) that featured the DOTM Cyberverse Preview Optimus Prime w/3D glasses and Generations figures. I happened to mention to the toy manager that they could really use those Generations figures on the Transformers aisle, since the pegs had been empty for a couple of months now. She said they had to feature them on an endcap to promote the movie toys, which wouldn't be coming out for yet another month or so. So not only are the retail stores not able to get any in, when they do they lack the commonsense to put them where they should go.
Anyway, I've been getting all my latest Generations and RTS finds from http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com as I can't depend on my local stores to get anything in. Sure, I might have to pay for shipping, but it sure beats burning up my gas (as it closes in on $4.00 a gallon) going from store to store and coming up empty handed.
BTW, I got my order in for Thundercracker and Wheeljack at http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com. Now I'm just waiting for RTS Scouts Chopsaw and Windcharger, RTS Legends Prowl and Trailcutter, and RTS Deluxe Rumble, Frenzy, and Warpath to get "in stock" so I can order them.

The"screw job" also comes from how department managers view action figures. They think of them like any other toy, like a baseball bat. The better ones actually view certain toys like produce, and realize that after a while some go bad, and stay on the shelf, and need to be replaced with new ones. The problem arises from the first view and they over order a big shipment late in the year to gear up for the holidays and not make any significant orders after that, just restocking the same ones over and over again, until Hasbro forces one on them or a movie comes out.
i say there holding for movie series only figures ive seen in gernerations or reveal the shield are the ones in wave 1 waiting for movie toys to come is dumb they make more money if they stock generations &reveal the shield before movie comes i was surprised i found kup at store to begin with think it was toysrus after that nothing new since then only movie 2 figures & very littel of everyhtnig else in wave 1

May be speculating but, presales usually last longer than this on HTS... we're talking stuff that won't ship until May, correct? Warpath is gonna might end up like Energon UM.

Dammit, Hasbro! Where's Perceptor, Wreck-gar, and Warpath?!
EDIT: WTF? They're sold out and it's 2 hours later. Man, either people are really scooping these up, or HTS is getting one case per shipment...
Sorry guys - they really were up for a while.

Going by the speed g2 OP got to me, that means I should get them by the 26th, still a few weeks earlier than I even thought they'd ship. Nice.

I received my order of Thundercracker and Wheeljack from http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com in the mail today. Sweet! I should be getting Warpath from them in the mail by Tuesday or Wednesday of next week. Now if only Chopsaw and Windcharger will get listed again (for some reason they are no longer listed on the site at http://www.hasbrotoyshop.com) and in stock, then I'll order them as well.
BTW, Generations Scourge is listed with no picture for $13.99 on the Toys R Us website for those of you still wanting him.

My RTS Perceptor also came today, in a separate, even smaller box. I wonder why OP came in such a big box, seriously, that thing probably could've held 4 or more deluxes. HTS is weird. But hey, so long as they get to me, undamaged, all good.
Edited to add:
ARRRRGH, Wheeljack's got two of the same "hip" part. No way am I paying to ship this back to HTS for a replacement though, guess I better just hope I find one at retail that I can swap for. Shame, because otherwise the figure is just great, nice and tight, no problems, actually better than my Tracks was.
