And for you’re reading convenience, his bio may also be read below:
“Though he is an incredibly flashy and skilled fighter, KNOCK OUT is also desperately insecure. He practices awesome combat maneuvers constantly in private to be sure that the other AUTOBOTS will notice him on the battlefield. His highest ambition is to be the leader of a special combat team, and to get the combination retrofit everyone has been talking about.”

I agree.
This will be a pass, though. This is one of those times where the mold is fairly solid, but the deco is craptacular. This is why I passed on Armada Tidal Wave, and got his Energon repaint instead.

Yea, he would be better that way. It kind of reminds me of Energon Arcee, a mold which could have easily been improved yet they slacked off on.

Agreed.
Also of mention, though is the combination retrofit he is trying to get that everyone is talking about. He's completely the wrong colour but perhaps the first form of an Arcee motorbike bot? Perhaps they're 3 individual robots that combine to make Arcee or just one is Arcee but Knock Out starts off not so great and then gets slightly reformatted into one of the Arcee bikes? Taking from his bio, it sounds highly likely.

Now by "special combat team" they seem to mean Generation 1's "Special Teams"!?!! More combiner teams? Is combiner the theme for this toy line? It's Superlink the movie!

Im starting to think that the final battle being set in egypt is hinting at Egyptian subplot like thousands of years ago, some tfs visited earth and met the Egyptians. And like, the people of egypt like, learned the cybertronian language and such. I dont know, maybe...

Primus I hope not. That's one of the reasons Superlink sucked, it took the previous 'special' concept of combination and turned it into a cheap parlor trick nearly every Bot could do. A Prime/Jetfire combination and the Arcee thing is fine, but it looses its charm when every-slagging-one can do it.

I can't unsee it.
I was thinking more along the lines of Natsuki's bike.
But Kaneda works too.

But then, I'm a sucker for bike-bots.

Couldn't they have secured the leg-panels so they'd just turn during transformation?
I'm very upset that every time i transform him the panels fall off.
A very simple fix could've made this figure much better.
Then again, mine could have just been a glitch. anybody else run into this problem?

I have, I think. The leg panels are designed to come off and reattach, so I'm not worried about it.
I actually had an arm come off at just over the elbow (not at either ball-joint, but in between) taking this figure out of package, but that was easy to fix too. The assembly here is more like movie Salvage, where I had the piece that becomes the back-left corner of the truck-mode's bed come off, only better because I was able to fix it and not have to worry about it staying fixed.
