The Encore Ratchet Visualworks exclusive has been released in Japan. Love him or hate him - this unique version of Ratchet features him in an emergency green and black concept similar to his Transformers Movie counterpart.
He comes with die-cast parts, all his G1 accessories/decals, and a cartoon accurate paper-head cutout that can attach to the front windshield. Emergency Green Ratchet sports blue lights instead of red and has the words "Fire Department" and "Ambulance" written on the side. As you can see, he comes packaged in the Encore Ratchet box.
This particular exclusive was tricky to get and required a mail-in coupon from the Visualworks artbook.

I like exclusives as much as the next person, but I'll pass on this one... It looks like someone was sick all over poor Ratchet.

Doesn't looks bad as I thought. Must be the nice Encore packaging.

Really should not have looked at this while I was having my breakfast! Feel queasy now.

Looks like the Mystery Machine. Considering his voice actor, this partical-homage is to be expected.

I just realized, this would almost be like having an official homage to my old HMW character Necromanix.

Somebody's gonna say that they love this and will try to get it. I will disagree with them fully.

I like this repaint, if it was a little cheaper I would get it.

The book is actually a very worthy purchase. Plenty of awesome G1 related artwork in it. Quite worth a purchase if you like art compilations, and G1 Transformers.
Oh the toy looks alright too...

I kind of see it too, but I would have said G1 Ratchet in
Movie Ratchet colors. I may yet change my mind and grab a Movie Ratchet (or at least the G1 deco of that one), but pass on this one. Movie deco just isn't well-suited for G1 Ratchet IMO.

Reminds me of the Mystery Machine.
