Because who'd expect that?!! The element of surprise.

*Cue epic woman epically running for an epic grab of epic paper!*
*Oh yeah, cue Laserbeak, too...*

The logic here is fantastic. Love this commercial .

Nice reasoning!
(Hey, office workers need to be told, somehow! Haha)

And since its British, if no one had found the good paper, think Laserbeak might have tracked down the makers of the inferior paper only to find that Office run by Ricky Jervais?

the copier makes sense for his being a spy (ever get an inkling that lazerbeak was female in the g1 series?)
on the other hand this is like the lamest movie tie-in i've ever seen. it's copier paper! i mean really - kudos to who managed to get that through the marketing departments!
this kinda thing always reminds me of yoghurt's intro seen in spaceballs... "meshandicin"!

Hah, I thought about that when I saw the Laserbeak one! That first one was used in a fan-made trailer for ROTF! (Maybe why they've joined forces! Haha)

Trust me, once you see the movie you'll realize just how little of a stretch this was to get through marketing. So far every movie related clip I've seen has been insanely close or totally dead on with the book. To say any more would ruin the surprise.for this scene. Obviously, there was no blatant product placement for copy paper in the novel because that would have just been boring as hell sitting through that description. However, you'll like when something kinda like this happens on the big screen but I can't promise the busty office assistant...although, in 3-D that might not be a bad scene to watch. hmmm...

You guys are aware that the whole thing with the printer paper was filmed seperately and spliced in, right?

That much was quite painfully obvious. That wasn't exactly the worlds greatest editing job. And I can't say as I find the 'head banging' smiley all that amusing. I'm not an f'ing idiot or 10 year old child and do not appreciate being treated as such.
All I was alluding to was that there is a scene (in the novel which is based on the screenplay, not saying that it will make it to the big screen as originally written) that allows for such a seemingly far-fetched concept like advertising copy paper with Transformers to actually work and not seem so far fetched. You just have to know the context and since practically nobody has actually seen the movie yet, the only ones for whom this ad makes any kind of sense are those who have read the novel. Like I said, there is no promise whatsoever that this scene will be in the final cut of the movie, I was simply throwing a generalized piece of info out there and that's all. If someone wants to give me crap over that then that person should probably re-evaluate just how much free time they have on their hands and how they choose to spend it.
Now can we please get back to poking some fun at Laserbeak blowing the crap out of an office because no matter how many times I watch that clip it will never, ever get old. I HATE doing paperwork.
