Earlier this week, many big box retail stores like Walmart and Kmart put out stacks of manufacturer's coupons for $5 off Transformers Dark of the Moon products. The offer is limited to one coupon per item(s) purchased, which means you can use one coupon for each item purchased. The coupon should be able to be used any where that accepts coupons (i.e. Walmart, Target, Kmart, Toys R Us, Sears, Kohl's, Meijer, your grocery store, etc).

Walmart is currently having a sale on DOTM Voyagers for $15 each. This assortment includes the following characters: Optimus Prime, Megatron, Shockwave, Sentinel Prime, Ironhide, Skyhammer, and Fireburst Optimus Prime. If you use the coupon with the sale, you can get Voyagers at Walmart for $10 per figure plus tax. That's 50% off regular retail price!

nice now you can get the figures for what they're actually worth, if you can find them that is. Im sure the scalpers had a field day with this.

I hope they do so that the DOTM product gets moved off the shelves to make way for new product. That's the way this process works. You guys should only hope that resellers want to take the risk of investing in these shelfwarmers to sell at a later date so that we can get the new toys that Hasbro has planned ... and so that retailers don't cut back on orders in the future.

Do you have other retailers in your area such as Kmart? I'd check there as well. Could be that they're gone already as there was no limit.

FYI ... I was able to use one of the coupons on the TRU exclusive Rage over Cybertron sets. Not sure if they were supposed to let me do that or not, but since the set is about $10 over priced ($40 instead of $30), I don't feel that bad.

yeah i saw these coupons at my local walmart here in san antonio tx,snatched up about three for future purchases.the list at my walmart only had skyhammer,optimus(regular)and shockwave,of the voyagers,which i have already anyway.the coupon can be used on a purchase total of 5.99,before tax.happy hunting.

Didn't get these at ours in Malone, NY, though as far as the shelf warming argument goes it probably won't do a lot of good to fix it up as they're part of the Christmas toy modular (meaning as soon as they deplete, the system over-orders more of the same item @_@).

Heck if anything I wish people would find some newfound love for Thunderwing and buy that thing in droves...we have so many they're choking the small generations section we have.

Hasbro's own way to help retailers clear shelf/peg space for upcoming releases/lines.

Especially when the movie line is pure waste of plastic that could be used for better quality toys and/or Transformers lines (jury still out on the Prime toy line)

This is true, maybe now all those crap voyager primes will go away and i might be able to find skyhammer. Checked walmart today and there were a good amount of coupons but only 2 voyagers, both were prime, and everything else was hit hard. Gonna check another walmart later & see if i can find skyhammer or even megatron, id buy him for $10 to use as octane.

UPDATE: checked out another walmart and they had a good amount of coupons & a frak load of voyager primes, never seen so many of the same voyager in my life. There were at least 30 maybe more. Still not worth it not even for $10. Anyone know how long the sale is going to last?

We checked our Walmart several times in the past few days and came up empty. What I have seen is the coupon packs being sold on Fleabay for a fair mint. Damned coupon scalpers.

I used it this morning at Target on a Transformer. It rang up with no problem. It's a manufacturer's coupon that is not tied to a specific store. Any store should accept it. Walmart's computers in my area are not automatically accepting them like they did at Target, Toys R Us and Kmart. They have to be manually inputted by the cashier.

just came from there today and they do honor it.also managed to complete my wrecker trio in cyberverse scale and found flak(what a great little guy.)

edit:i used the coupon on deluxe crankcase as i was not about to pay full price for him.

At the one Walmart and the one Kmart I saw them at, they were right with the Transformers toys.

so far ive only seen them at walmart. Ive checked 1 TRU 1 Target & 2 walmarts. One walmart had a stack of them hidden in a corner of the TF section the other one had them right on the endcap and on the front of the shelf where the TFs were 2 stacks in each spot. They're good until the 16th so you have some time to try and find them.

Is this the same one that comes with the BD combo pack out now for the film? I just peeled off my own on the cover and its says to go to tf3coupon.com to redeem this code on it. Since I don't plan on needing/using it, I haven't bothered redeeming it to see if it's got the same upc. It says $5 off a $5.99 purchase or more, so I figured it was.

Hey Nat..There is a in store coupon much like the one target offered last year around the same time, the movie sticker is a seperate offer but pretty much the same. Too bad there is nothing but shelfwarmers left.

BTW...Anyone needing a leader ironhide, a walmart by my house has 30+...no joke...I pity the folks who dropped coin on one awhile back..

Ok, thanks! I was going to say, a lady came in today and bought a tf toy and used the manufacturer coupon here (-$5), plus a target mobile coupon for another $5 off!

I'd so cave and buy the Generations we've FINALLY gotten in, like wheeljack, Kup, scourge, and thundercracker. I kid you not we now have four Kup's on the pegs, when I was worried I'd never see him in my stores.

Anyone know if you can get those Target mobile coupons without a smart phone?

I have been to KMart, TRU, 2 Targets, and 2 Walmarts, and I have not seen a single one of these flippin' coupons!
Grrr.
I think I'd actually pick up Skyhammer and possible Topspin if I could find a couple of these.
