None of these figures particularly remind me of their namesakes, though. I see a lot of wasted potential in the LoC line. If they made new moulds, moulds of characters other than ones from Cybertron/Galaxy Force, this line could be a winner for sure.

I'm still confused by their names... are they still known as Legends of Cybertron or did they name it to Heroe's or something like that?
Anywyas only a few of the molds are pretty good. Starscream is amazing and Leobreaker is better then his bigger version (more articulated).

You're right, I forgot about those. Okay, scratch that 'potential' part...
I dubbed these "Legends of Classics," but that most likely is not their official name.

I find it kind of funny that you don't like the ugliness of these figures yet are enthusiastic about Spider-Man 3. Guess you didn't see pictures of Venom, Black-Suited Spidey, or 'New Goblin' yet.

I like it as it lets me collect mini-versions of some larger figures I wouldn't normally pick up.
I do like Bumblebee as a Chrysler ME 412, Whirl as a Aerospatiale SA 365 Dauphin and Jetfire as a Sukhoi SU-27 Flanker. All great molds. They arn't in scale to each other, but the sizes do work out well for the characters. Bumblebee would stand about 15 feet tall (mini-bot size), Whirl about 23 feet tall (Autobot size), and Jetfire about 54 feet tall (gestalt size!)
Here's a survey though. If they made the Classic Legends in full sized toys, which would you buy? I think I'd get them all so far.

Optimus Prime mold - Ultra Magnus, Thunderclash
Vector Prime mold - Alpha Trion, Galaxy Force Vector Prime.
Soundwave mold - Soundblaster, Blaster
Thundercracker mold - Cybertron Skywarp
Starscream mold - G1 Thundercracker
Scourge mold - Sky Lynx (as the Japanese exclusive)
Red Alert - Timelines Megatron
I've buy em all!

Something like that.

I think when they were rumored to make Spychanger Stunticons they couldn't use the names Motormaster or Dragstrip any more. I always guess that Decepticharge was their new name for Dragstrip.

I had finally gotten that terrible name out of my head when you come along and...
Wasn't the Takara release Dragstrip?

I guess they also lost the rights to the name Skyfire too.

Yeah. That's why in Energon the Omnicon was named Skyblast, or something like that. I think Mattel has the rights to the 'Skyfire' name now. Gah!
