Now if Scrounge was revived for G2, a simple repaint wouldn't suffice. He'd have to turn into a cross between a monster truck tire and the Cobra Buzz Boar. Cause, you know, it's more extreme.

Even in these colors, I still hear Kevin Michael Richardson as Straxus in my head.DJX Prime wrote:Somehow I see him being voiced by Dr. Roxo the Rock and Roll Clown from Metalocalypse.

I remember those very well. There was one more where the boy wound up on the front lawn acting like a lawn sprinkler, to which the dog remarked "Say it, don't spray it!"Dr. Heavy B wrote:After my first post, I had a flash back to a rather apropriate commercial

Hmm...This comment makes me think we've seen one of next year's Botcon toys. This could very well end up being repurposed as Shattered Glass Straxus.

Never pictured the Decepticon poet in these colors. I saw him as being more in Emirate Xaaron colors.Darth Bombshell wrote:Dr. Heavy B wrote:i would buy that, and put it with shatered glass thundercracker. and then I will dance...

{This pic is} The visual equivalent of granulated glass in your eyes. Looking hurts. Blinking hurts. Rubbing hurts. Blindness, when it comes, is almost a comfort.

Given Straxus' normal personality, I always saw SG Straxus as a '60's era hippie. And if those colors don't scream "'60's era hippie", what don't?

It's not that. It's just that I figured that since Straxus was a U.S. Marvel Decepticon carried over into the UK, it made sense to me that his negative counterpart would be colored like the UK Marvel Autobot carried over into the U.S.Darth Bombshell wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Never pictured the Decepticon poet in these colors. Ah. Kinda like how SG Starsream is colored like G1 Jetfire?

It's not what he really looks like. It's just some artwork the series creator did for fun. Here's what the tyrannical Lord High Governor really looks like:Lord Manhammer '74 wrote:I take it from looking at that pic,in the world of Transformers Animated, the Decepticons have long since dropped their own policy of "Don't ask.
