The 2019 Hall of Fame vote is now online, and you can find that vote HERE. The vote contains 2 different voting areas, one for a new fictional character to join the Hall of Fame Lineup, the other to induct a Hasbro Transformers figure from this year into the Hall of Fame. Don't worry, this vote is open to anyone and is not exclusive to social media sites, allowing anyone with an internet connection to vote.
This year, the vote is a little strange, with only 1984 cartoon cast members being on the vote. Amusingly, this vote does include little known character Hauler, who showed up only briefly in the cartoon but has become a fan favorite with a cult following.
Head on over to the vote, and let us know below who you voted to go into the Hall of Fame!
2019 CATEGORIES:
Favorite fictional character from the 1984 season of The Transformers animated television series.
2019 Transformers War for Cybertron Siege toy of the year.
See the official Facebook announcement with link to vote here!
Voting begins Tuesday, December 3 at 10am EST (TODAY!) and closes on Friday, December 7 at 11:59pm EST.
Winners of both categories will be announced on the Transformers Facebook page later this month.

This vote can bugger off. Guess Hasbro is tired of Beast Wars continually proving itself to be the fan favorite

Well...it is the 35th anniversary of G1 which makes the cartoon vote legit and it’s siege because it also has ties to G1 and there were figures that also celebrated the 35th. So that’s why.

that may be why, but it is a weak ass why. They didn't do something like this for the 30th anniversary of G1, didn't do it for the 20th anniversary of Beast Wars, and I'm willing to get they won't for the 20th anniversary for Armada. and the 35th is a weird one anyway.
either way, it's weak and it's sad. Hasbro is running the vote directly this year, and it shows where their priorities are.

They didn’t do it themselves because funpub and botcon so they never had to. They’re giving all this stuff a try. Jesus don’t seem ya throwing a fit over the fact that bot bots and Cyberverse weren’t included.
And it’s not weak or sad. It’s exactly how it is because those two things tie into what’s big this years. Build your bridge and get over it baby.

Hard to do a proper "Hall of Fame" when only 1 year is represented. Plus there was a Studio Series line in addition to the above, but a main generations line is what only counts.
And for gosh sakes, stop being an asshole when people are unhappy. I'm not the only one who sees an issue with the very limited range of the vote. Having a criticism is not being childish.

Theres no reason you can’t act your age and be an adult and just be okay that you don’t always get what you want. Sorry hasbro didn’t reach out to the grown adults who play with toys and ask specifically what they want. Shame on them for them for essentially wanting to do something entertaining and have a morale booster and involve the communities.

Wider range, that is all that is asked. Of many too.
also, while I do appreciate community outreaches, many of which I have been involved with, but only grown adults primarily watched the 1984 season 1 cartoon. Kinda cuts out a lot of others there.

Hi! Couple of things:
Dmax is very wrong. This vote is not bullshit. This vote is complete and utter horseshit. Look, I'm a ride or die G1 guy, but this is ridiculous. There is so much more to the brand than one line. This is Hasbro saying they can't be bothered to step out of the small box they've made, so choose one of the preselected items, thank you very much.
Fuck this vote.

As for the toy vote, Hot Shot's the most interesting since he's the only non-G1 character (Galaxy Upgrade OP is a non-G1 design being used as a new body upgrade for G1 Optimus).

Plus, I like his tragic backstory as a former Constructicon betrayed by his best friends and comrades when they got turned evil and then destroyed the very city that he and they had worked together to build, with Hauler joining the Autobots as the sole remaining good Constructicon, working hard to redeem the good name of his team.

Were any of the other final-wave Siege toys on there, like Crosshairs, Rung, Singe, Spinister, etc.? If a show is 20-something years old does it even count as new and modern anymore? By this point, the Beast Era is ancient, old enough for its fans to have kids of their own, just slightly younger than the original '84 G1 crop. It would be like calling Pokémon 'new' just because its a younger Nintendo franchise than Mario and Zelda.

More importantly, Beast Wars already has characters in the Hall of Fame. If that wasn't true, I'd be more willing to shrug it off, but because of how often Beast Wars wins the ballot whenever they put it on there, I can't help but feel like Hasbro has decided that because they want to focus on "G1's 35th Anniversary" they removed anything that could oppose that idea

No really? I had no idea that was my opinion.
Here is some more of my opinions:
I have never liked those designs in movies, toys, comics, video games, and so on. I also hate all of Bay directed live action movies as well, Bumblebee looks nice but it's too little too late and I can't stand Bumblebee so unless he gets blown up at the end I'll skip it.
I love Prime Wars Trilogy and Siege toys.
I love the IDW version 1.5 of the comics.
I don't give a damn about the current comics.
My favorite TV shows are Prime, Beast Wars, and Beast Machines.
I've yet to play a great The Transformers video game and the ones I have played are average to good.
If you or anyone else disagrees with my opinions: I DON'T CARE.
