Active Anime reports that voice actor Scott McNeil will be the guest of honor at
Anime Boston convention to be held at April 29th through May 1st 2005, at the Hynes Convention Center and Sheraton Boston Hotel.
Scott McNeil is, of course, best known within the Transformers community as the voice of chracters like Beast Wars Dinobot, Rattrap and Silverbolt or from the newer series like Armada and Energon as Jetfire.

Transformerscon, to be held March 26th in Toronto, Canada, has send us the following update for the line up that they will be presenting later this month.
"Former Dreamwave Post Production Manager Matt Moylan will be joining Joe Ng and Alex Milne on the Dreamwave Panel. Matt was with Dreamwave for their entire run as a publisher and was in charge of advertising, trade paperbacks, posters & lithographs, technical accuracy & print quality.
He was also project manager for the unpublished Energon & Beast Wars MTMTE Guidebooks, and the Datatracks Annual, and was a big part of developing DW's 2005-2008 Transformers plans. Matt has inside knowledge of everything that Dreamwave published TF-wise and what would've happened had the company survived."

(2005-02-25) The TFCon 2005 T-Shirt will feature original art by Transformers
comic book artist Joe Ng. These will be printed in extremely limited numbers, so
if you wish to reserve one preregister for the Convention by the cut off date
of February 28th.

TV Tome, Hasbro plans to show a special sneek preview of Cybertron at the Science Fiction and Comic book Convention in Los Angeles on Jan 30th.

Sadly, it looks like TV Tome had inaccurate information. Transfandom received this email, from the SF&CB organizers:
THIS IS FALSE. I would love to be able to screen Transformers, but the next Con is Sunday, February 13 and features Seth MacFarlane, the creator of the animated series Family Guy. You can check www.comicbookscifi.com for the entire program.

Due to Dreamwave Productions ceasing operations the 2005
Convention Exclusive comic has been cancelled. All preorders for this book have been
refunded. Fortunately former Dreamwave employees are still interested in attending
the convention so the Dreamwave Panel will still be occurring to answer your
questions.
