Our good friend Jim Sorenson has just dropped us a line to let us know about the latest post he's made on his Disciples of Boltax blog.

This time around, he treats us to some backgrounds from "Roll for it." Diehard G1 fans will most likely remember that this was a first season Sunbow cartoon episode. In fact, it was only the 5th ever Transformers show aired and just the 2nd after the initial mini-series.

Classic/Henkei Thundercracker and Skywarp are always sought after by Transformers collectors to complete the collection of seekers. These are also Botcon/Gentei exclusive figures, thus it is not unusual that they are expensive.
KO makers sense this business opportunity, though unethical, and created the KO Classic Skywarp & Thundercracker.

A Transformer pays homage to movies such as Rambo and Predator, as Recon Ironhide is decked out with a fierce bumper, an arsenal of unorthodox weapons and jungle camouflage. One might wonder why Ironhide has chosen to undergo this makeover - he's out for Bludgeon!

Recon Ironhide is the fifth use of the Ironhide mold. Originally used by 2007 Movie Ironhide, then repainted into Offroad Ironhide and Premium Ironhide, while ROTF Voyager Ironhide was the first remold. You can see all of them in Seibertron's galleries. Reports are coming in that the Hasbro Toy Shop exclusive special edition Universe figures are being sighted at Marshalls stores.

4Chan board poster optimus2575 has posted images of the figures in the stores. All four figures of Optimus Prime, Megatron, Dragstrip and Overkill have been seen with a price point of $9.99 USD, making them six dollars less then they were originally available at HTS.com.

Chris Mowry, of IDW Publishing, has updated his blog site, The Full Mowry, with a five page preview of the next installment of the Tales of the Fallen story arc.



Book #6, titled ARCEE, will feature work by Transformers artist Alex Milne and colors by Josh Perez. ARCEE will also feature a new Transformer, created by Chris Mowry, named FLATLINE. Here's Chris' basic profile on FLATLINE:

...He's a Decepticon medic, basically their version of Ratchet. While Ratchet may work to save lives, Flatline merely gets his soldiers operational again. Because as I'd like to think of him saying "to cease to serve, is to cease to function."
