Monro Announces Partnership with "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts"
Transformers-themed service packages and poster giveaways set to hit Monro stores on May 22.
ROCHESTER, NY (May 22, 2023) - Monro, Inc. The movie, part of the popular Transformers franchise, will be released only in theatres on June 9, 2023.

From May 22 through June 24, guests visiting Monro’s participating stores will have the opportunity to scan on Snapchat to convert their car, collect an official Transformers: Rise of the Beasts movie poster, and take pictures next to movie character displays.
Inspired by the celebrated characters in the film, Monro also plans to offer movie-themed service packages such as "Power is Primal Oil Change" and "Roll Out Wheels Deal," powered by Yokohama. This is pretty damn cool. Hasbro has unveiled a brand new official Transformers themed restauraunt in Hong Kong. It is called The Ark and it offers Transformers themed sandwiched along in a setting resembling the Ark along with lots of merchandize. Basically, a dream come true for fans, especially those who like crab patty burgers. You can see below images of the interior and exterior, the merchandise offered inside and the food available.
There will be a special Pulse Livestream next Tuesday Nov 29th. They will show off the actual colored sample of Deathsaurus. This is impeccable timing if ( as predicted) another jump of pre orders will occur next Monday, and the funding goal will have been met. There is less than 800 orders needed for it to be funded. They will also probably announce that VS is shipping ( since the cut off date for address verification is the 28th).
The big Reveal for the Pulse Premium presentation was the reveal of the next Transformers Haslab project: Deathsaurus, Emperor of Destruction, including all tiers. And unlike some of the latest Haslab projects, this one is still under $200.

Straight Out of the Dark Nebula
Deathsaurus has a pretty iconic alt mode, and the team made sure the figure design reflects just how awesome it really is. This figure converts between robot and his powerful griffon-dragon alt mode, with plenty of features befitting the Decepticon warlord, including wing, claw, and jaw articulation. Deathsaurus stands at an impressive 11-inch height in robot mode, to scale with the prior HasLab Victory Saber figure. This figure is animation-accurate and features 30 points of articulation for creating epic battle stances and iconic poses from the anime.
“Chest Attack!”
Deathsaurus has deployed the Chest Animals! Deathsaurus wouldn’t be complete without his iconic Micromaster chestplate beasts, Eaglechest and Tigerchest. Eaglechest coverts between eagle and cassette modes, and Tigerchest converts between tiger and chest piece modes. The cassette-mode Eaglechest figure can fit inside the chest of Deathsaurus. The Tigerchest figure attaches to the Deathsaurus figure as a horned chest piece. Both Micromasters also convert to weapon modes that Deathsaurus can wield in battle! The Eaglechest figure has a 6-inch wingspand and converts to a double-barreled blaster accessory, and the 4-inch-long Tigerchest figure converts to a bow accessory.
Weapons of Destruction
Deathsaurus can’t crush his archnemesis without his iconic weapons! Pose Deathsaurus challenging Victory Saber* on the battlefield with the included sword accessory that the figure can hold. Attach the Tigerchest figure in bow mode and pose Deathsaurus taking aim at his archnemesis with the included arrow accessory. This figure also comes with the classic Death Tailer shield accessory that attaches in alt mode as the tail of Deathsaurus.
TIER 1 – 14,000 BACKERS: “FEEL THE POWER OF THE LIVING-METAL-DESTROYING CANNON!”
The Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon is perhaps one of the most destructive weapons in the Transformers universe. A fully-charged blast from its barrel can erode any metal material, including the living cells of Cybertronian lifeforms. This Deathsaurus figure comes with this signature weapon accessory and his classic spiked flail accessory! Fans can also plug the 6 included blast effects onto the Deathsaurus figure and his weapon accessories. The Living-Metal-Destroying Cannon, spiked flail, and blast effect accessories will be unlocked when the campaign reaches 14,000 backers.
TIER 2 – 17,000 BACKERS: A THRONE BEFITTING THE DECEPTICON EMPEROR
The Transformers team has sculpted an imposing throne for Deathsaurus that reflects his awesome power. This 11-inch accessory features premium deco and details inspired by the throne as seen in the anime. Additionally, we know you want to show off Deathsaurus in the most epic poses imagineable. We’re including 2 stand pieces to allow Transformers fans to showcase Deathsaurus in his most powerful stances. The throne accessory, stand base, and stand arm attachment will be unlocked when the campaign reaches 17,000 backers.
The Earthspark line will soon replace Cyberverse as the mainline for Transformers toys on shelves. That's what you will see more of than any other line, in terms of product quantity, with the same characters appearing in multiple size classes for different price points and gimmicks. The entire line is aimed at kids BUT the Nick Roche designs have attracted older fans to the show and toyline and the deluxe toys are anticipated by fans of all ages. So, it is cool to now know all toys coming out in the deluxe line to build the Mandroid figure (he is the main villain of season 1).
This is pretty big news since it means there will be Shockwave and Grimlock on the show, something we did not know yet. Nightshade will be another terran transformer that will come in later in season 1.
We will get our first look at these characters in the back of the packaging of the deluxes coming out next month.

Hot on the heels of PulseCon Hasbro is gearing up for another big multi-brand livestream in just under two weeks. Thanks to a heads up from Seibertronian Nemesis Primal and emails from Hasbro Pulse we know the stream will take place on October 27 at 5:00PM EST. While no specific brand was mentioned, Nemesis Primal reminds us that this stream last year gave us our first look at Transformers Selects Black Zarak and Lift-Ticket, plus we're still short a Legacy Evolution wave 1 Leader class reveal so it may be a worthwhile watch for us here. The stream is intended for Premium Members only, though there's a chance it'll still be viewable to all and we'll definitely have pictures of any suitable reveals right here on Seibertron!

Transformers: Join the Hasbro Transformers Franchise, Marketing, and Design teams as we reveal the next evolution of Transformers: Legacy. Get ready for a fusion of your favorite Transformers characters into the next phase of the Transformers Generations line. We’re bringing you the next figure in the Shattered Glass collection, and we have to say… he’s a pretty rad dude. The exclusive reveals continue as we roll out the origin story of one of the most legendary bots on Cybertron.
For this year’s event, Hasbro is partnering with Toys for Tots. For every viewer of Hasbro Pulse Con 2022, Hasbro will donate two toys or games to Toys for Tots, up to 60,000 pieces.
Hasbro is getting ready to launch their new Transformers mainline, Earthspark. This will be the line taking up the majority of the shelfspace for the next few years, as Cyberverse did, to provide kids and parents with Transformers toys all year round for whatever occasion. As with Cyberverse and recent movie lines, the emphasis will be on simple toys and gimmicks, since those have sold well in the past (and in fact, have sold well with kids since G1) but there will be deluxe figures from the get go which aim to provide similar entertainment and complexity as deluxes in other lines. While the toyline debuted at SDCC, it is at the Sydney Oz Comic-Con that Hasbro is showing the final toys in their packaging. We see deluxe Megatron, Twitch and Bumblebee plus Warrior Optimus and Elita-1, along with other toys. It is also revealed that the Mandroid build -a-figure will be made up of 7 toys which will come in different waves. There will be more reveals as the week-end goes on with coverage from Griffin from Ozformers. He wrote the blurb below informing Australian fans of the event:
Transformers Earthspark toys to be revealed in packaging and reviewed at Sydney Oz Comic-Con - Saturday September 24th.
It is at the Dome at the Sydney Showgrounds, Olympic Park, with a Transformers Booth promoting Earthspark, and some other licensed items... so I hope to see a fair few Australian Transformers fans there over the two days.
The booth is at A121, which is right near the entrance... and at 10am in the morning in the "Halloween Ends Theatre", there will be a live reveal of the Earthspark toys IN PACKAGING for the first time in the world.
Since I will be one of two fans helping out Hasbro at the convention, I have already been shown the packaging and toys, and have been given permission to review and post up images after the convention - but Hasbro will be having a professional filming at the convention and the presentation, so you should see something on their official Socials at some point too.
It's the beginning of September which means Hasbro is now ready look forward to their 2023 product lines. Much of that is going to be revealed at the upcoming PulseCon with Hasbro Pulse on Instagram promising Transformers reveals day one on September 30. As part of their announcement they revealed that, after a year of speculation as to why Legacy toys in store computers since wave one have had "Ev" in their names, the 2023 line will officially be called Transformers Legacy: Evolution! How that translates to the actual toys is anyone's guess, but maybe we'll get a clue at the end of the month.
Meanwhile they've also added some other teasers including a "never-before-seen" partnership as well as what is most certainly going to be Shattered Glass Soundwave.
