RUMOUR! Combiner Wars (Titan Wars?) Predacons and Terrorcons, along with Brawn and Barricade might be on the way! Take it with a grain of salt, but Hasbro has applied for some rather interesting trademarks, none other than Predacon and Terrorcon, while the terms have been used recently in Transformers: Prime, they were name reuses, legacy characters at most, as they used to be two Decepticon COMBINER teams, which would make a lot of sense given the current Gestalt craze.

Also solicited were Barricade and Brawn, which could mean a predictable redeco/retool of the Swerve Legends mould for the Minibot, while Barricade is a bit more vague, could it be an update of the old Micromaster, in time for the (also still rumoured) Titan Wars? Or could it be something else entirely? Finally, a couple of days ago we also saw Backtrack and Autobot Wheelie join the groupings. Tell us in the forums, what do you think will come out of these Trademarks?

You might remember the lineart teasers from the potentially forthcoming Transformers Titan Wars toyline from Hasbro, all of which we saw at BotCon 2015 (though apparently were not meant to).

It appears now that Blaster has made it from the card art to digital render, in a rumoured first look at a reinvention of the character as a three-in-one robot/boombox/base mode - probably as a playset for the smaller Head-, Target- and Powermaster figures, also seen in that lineart. So, while we urge you to take this with at least three handfuls of salt, take a look below at the image, via Facebook user 洪尚靖 and ACToys!

TFyuki posted a HUGE teaser this morning folks. Seibertronian Cyberpath let us know of his new Tweet featuring an image of a G1 Bruticus only with Groove as an arm! This is incredibly interesting given that TakaraTomy recently made their own exclusive figure for their upcoming Defensor which everyone knows is a proper Deluxe sized Groove. This could mean that not only will Bruticus be released in the Unite Warriors line, but that TakaraTomy could be making their own proper Blast-Off as apposed to Hasbro's repainted Quickslinger. User catz on fellow fansite TFW2005 has unearthed a list of upcoming Takara Tomy Transformers Adventure line figures, though with very little information aside from the titles and codes - so feel free to take all of this as fuel for the speculation engines!

What seems to show up are a number of not-entirely-surprising possible redecos of existing figures in the line, including a new Grimlock (an addition to Gold Armour Grimlock?), One-Step Drift and Fracture, some additional Q Transformers redecos.. and the unexpected Black Shadow and Rumble and Frenzy packs. Tumbler user Walky has uploaded an image of a FunPub teaser, with simply five sets of eyes and the words "Mayhem Returns" for the Club Roundtable panel on Saturday. Speculation is that it could be the next Transformers Figure Subscription Service based on G1's "Mayhem Attack Squad", so stay tuned for more developments because Botcon 2015 is just getting started!

The BotCon 2015 dealer room just opened up about an hour ago! Behind the Hasbro booth, there was a giant Combiner Wars poster / banner that featured artwork of the primary Combiners including ... Bruticus! Victorion was absent however. In addition to the Bruticus tease, there are some possible "teases" from line-art of Fortress Maximus, Blaster, a space shuttle Transformer (with face shield), and more! There's also some text that says "Titan Wars". Perhaps that's the next toyline or storyline after the initial Combiner Wars?

We all know the troubled story of MP-23 Exhausts release, and while he was not cancelled unfortunately his Collector Coin never saw the light of day. Until now it seems! Some had surmised the coin had already been produced but then held back from release with the figure, and as we can see the coin was indeed made and now making its way through some... unsavory channels. An interview between Mark Wahlberg and Collider's Christina Radish, for the upcoming Ted 2 movie, adds to the previous rumblings that Michael Bay will return as the director to the 5th installment of the Transformers series.

It's a short quote which went like this:

Collider: Do you have any update on the status of Transformers 5? Have you heard anything about what’s going on?

WAHLBERG: I don’t. Just that Akiva [Goldsman] and those guys are starting to write and break stories, and stuff like that. But [Michael] Bay is in Malta shooting Benghazi, and I’m in New Orleans shooting Deepwater. We’ll get together when he gets back.

Do you think he'll still ultimately direct it?

WAHLBERG: Yes.

Seibertronian Spanbauer has shared a TFyuki Tweet with us tonight of Transformers Unite Warriors Devastator, featuring their... GUNS?! Its been observed that Hasbro's Combiner Wars Constructicons don't have individual firearms, so if this means TakaraTomy's green team is packing heat it would definitely set them apart. Remember folks all will be revealed on June 20th at the 2015 Tokyo Toy show, and Seibertron will be ready so stay tuned!

While we have yet no confirmation from the TFCC about the various rumoured BotCon toys that have started appearing online, fellow Seibertronian gema was able to acquire the (possible) Diaclone Black Skids, and has shared a pictorial review from their own blog!

A repaint of the Generations Skids mold, of which you can see our gallery here, the new figure comes with plenty of guns and new paint applications - find out more about it in the snippets below, and head here for the full review.

Just as the name implied, this variant of Skids comes in black paint app with red highlights nicely put on the side. This is a bit different compared to the Diaclone version where the stripes on the side are yellow rather than red.

Like I said, he is a straight repaint of Skids without any retool. Usually that does bother me but if he really is "Diaclone Skids", it make sense to retain the original head.
The paint job on the shoulder missiles is a bit disappointing as the finishing is not really clean. Maybe the official release will be better?

And just like all the variants after Skids, the thighs are assembled correctly so there's no problem to his range of movement.
