Love ´em or hate ´em, the
Built-To-Rule (BTR) Transformers were on display again ... this time at Wizard World 2003 in Chicago. The BTR Transformers might look awkward in robot mode, but their vehicle modes are pretty slick. Check out the new pictures of the all-new Transformers BTR figures
here.

Hasbro´s very impressive Transformers display was available for viewing again at Wizard World 2003 here in Chicago.
On display were the Transformers 2004 line called "ENERGON". While it was essentially the same products that were on display at OTFCC 2 weeks ago, we were able to get pictures this time of the backsides of the Energon figures including their boxes as well as the Transformers Energon story text:
"The quest for Energon - a rare and potent substance the Autobot and Decepticon warriors have battled over for eons - continues on Earth! The Decepticon forces have struck a deal with Unicron: in exchange for new powers and forms, they will supply enough Energon to full reactivate him. Now legions of hyper-powered Decepticons speed toward Earth, intent on controlling its Energon resources at any cost! Only an elite team of Autobots, empowered with the Spark of Combination, can save the planet from total destruction."
Check out the pictures for yourself

Since we missed the OTFCC Hasbro panel 2 weeks ago, we thought we would at least bring you
pictures from Hasbo´s Wizard World 2003 panel here in Chicago. No 20th Anniversary Prime, but we do get a sneak peak at ARCEE for next year´s Energon line and the Sideswipe (Dodge Viper) Alternators figure as well as two new upcoming Universe repaints we didn´t know about: King Atlas (Machine Wars Starscream repaint) and Skywarp (Beast Machines Jetstorm repaint). Check out the pictures from Hasbro´s Wizard World 2003 panel
here.

Part of the fun of the Transformers conventions is the
insane amount of products for sale in the dealer room plus some of the other cool stuff like getting pictures of Simon Furman and such. Over 140 pictures are now online in the "
Toys, People, & More" gallery also known as the "
Drool Gallery".

Transfans in Singapore had an enjoyable night, as a joint-effort between
SGCOLLECT.com and two retailers to do a collectors-based mini-launch of the ARMADA UNICRON figure proved to be successful.
You may be interested to read a
REPORT about the event, which also included an image of
ALL EIGHT (including chase figures) World´s Smallest Transformers in their internal packagings.

The Hartmans (The true creators of
BotCon) have decided to have one last show next year (this will celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Transformers) as well. The show will be held June 19-20, 2004 at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California. Guest at the event will include Peter Cullen who´s did the voices of
G1 Optimus Prime and Ironhide! And the former Hasbro TF creative team: Vinnie D´Alleva, George Dunsay, and Alison Segebarth and also featuring well known Japanese TF collector Fumihiko Akiyama. This will most likely be your last chance to attend a true BotCon, don´t let it slip away. For more information, visit
BOTCON.com! [Edit by Seibertron:
