Hasbro has officially announced that there will come a GI Joe Full Length. Live-Action Movie! On the heels of the Transformers movie (to be produced by Tom DeSanto and Don Murphy), this GI Joe Movie will be produced and developed by Lorenzo di Bonaventura.

This will be yet another line between Transformers and GI Joe that lays their path side by side. This could be interresting to follow and see in just how many ways the two pictures will paralel each other. For the full article, read the full announcement here

Well for those of you who watch the news religiously like yours truly (especially when major events happen like today´s mass power outage on U.S. East Coast), you might have just caught the treat of seeing the Times Square Toys R Us with the massive Transformers: Armada "The Unicron Battles" window display viewed on CNN´s "NewsNight With Aaron Brown"´s footage of New York City in the dark. Nice to see Unicron and the Transformers make it (kind of) into tonight´s news. Not sure that it´s worth staying up for later, but it will reair again on CNN at 1:00AM Eastern time. That is ... if you have power!

Thanks to SEIBERTRON.com´s very own Raymond T we find out: "Metrodome’s Transformers designed website for their upcoming UK Transformers The Original Series season 2 part 1 [ www.transformersdvd.com ] has come on-line. It has made public that the DVD box has been pushed back a month to November of this year. The box will contain 3 discs that contains 24 re-mastered episodes with specials including Fanart, a Quiz, Titan comic, Episode scripts, BotCon report and more special are to be announced at a later date. The site contains 4 E-cards and 2 wallpapers with art of Lee Sullivan. who will also do the art for the box. An original artwork of Sullivan can be won in their competition aswell. Dai Atorasu, from the SEIBERTRON.com Energon Pub, has posted some exciting news for our overseas friends. The next DVD box set of "Choujin Masterforce" will be released later this month on Wednesday, June 25th. This box set will collect from episodes 25 to 42. According to Dai Atorasu, the box set will contain addtional bonus material including several episodes which were never aired on television and a special 24 page booklet. The episodes will be split between 4 DVDs. The price is ¥23,000 which is approximately $195.00. Since it´s unlikely any of us will be able to get this coveted series at least whet your appetite a little more with SEIBERTRON.com´s Masterforce image gallery.
