Thanks to Chuckdawg1999, we have a review for the latest Earthspark figures, One Step Soundwave and Swindle.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Flip Changers is a bit of a misnomer, I think tap and change describes better the technique needed to transform these figures. Swindle borrows a few design cues from its Combiner Wars figure with a softer pastel color pallet. Soundwave's design borrows more from the 2015 RID cartoon and the Prime-era Stealth Jet. As with previous one-step changes these make for great desk toys, but please, don't throw them in the air.
We have news that the exclusive NEST Ratchet was found at Target in Northwest Indiana. It is a solid case and they go for $24.99. It was found by our very own TF-fan kev777.
We have some news regarding the new Rise of the Beasts core class figures coming out in the Studio Series line. Below you will find a video review of Arcee. Also, both her and Freezer are out in Hong Kong, which gives us a look at Freezer's packaging. On it we can see its CG model. We also see that he has the Museum as a backdrop giving us a clue as to when in the film we will see this character. That image was posted on Twitter but we also have more in hand images from Pixelmaster.
Coming to us once again from PrimeVsPrime, we have a new review for an upcoming (though yet to be officially revealed) new figure, that of Studio Series 86 Leader Class Snarl. The fourth of the five Dinobots, Snarl is looking very accurate to his extremely brief appearance in the 1986 movie, and includes his sword as an accessory. His transformation, as PvP points out, is very reminiscent of his cartoon transformation, and includes some neat tricks. Check out some screenshots from the video, including comparisons with his most recent new figure, 2018's Power of the Primes Deluxe Class Snarl, as well as some sweet shots with the rest of the Dinobots released so far. And let's not forget the video itself!
So what do you think about this latest addition to the Leader Class Dinobots? Yay or nay? Let us know below!
Legacy Evolution's second wave of core class figures was found at Target earlier this month and now that fans got them in hand, we have reviews coming in from our community. Below are reviews from Thundertron and Chuckdawg1999 for Legacy Grimlock, Thundercracker and Nemesis Prime.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:While it might be surprising to see Grimlock, the Dinobot Leader being used as a leg, I find it refreshing to see how Hasbro can still come up with unique ideas for the Dinobots. Robot and T-Rex modes aren't that great, but they're better than what we got with Sludge. It really feels like leg mode was the priority and everything else came after. If you've ever wanted a pocket Grimlock then this Core Class version just might fit the bill.
Amazon has been shipping out the new Transformers Studio Series voyager class Rise of the Beasts Cheetor. So fans are getting him and we can see the transformation as indicated in the instructions. Balmatrix did a review after receiving him and you can see the review below.
Transformers Legacy Evolution Prime Universe Skyquake is being found at collectible retailers and if you want a good look at what this leader class figure has to offer, we have a video review for you below. We also have images of Skyquake compared to his original mold from the Prime line, in the form of Dreadwing, and many other Prime figures. You'll let us know if he looks too big or not.
While the Rescue Bots show is done, the toyline lives on through the Classic Heroes Team line which makes sure to have Transformers characters in that preschool toy aisle as well. And they've been giving us Decepticons lately, like this Starsrcream figure. If you want o know more about it, check out the reivew below form fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg1999.
chuckdawg1999 wrote:Classic Heroes Team Starscream is a fun figure and makes for a great desk toy. It's great to see more "Classic" Transformer characters being brought into the line.
Thanks to Chuckdawg1999 we have a review for the new Legacy Twincast to share with you. As we now know, the cassettes are made of clear plastic because they are on the same plastic tree as the clear chest piece but Hasbro is able to colour that clear plastic differently. This toy also comes with a "new" smirking headsculpt. Enjoy!
chuckdawg1999 wrote:We all knew Twincast was coming some way when Blaster was released and was a new mold. There's not much here except a new face and deco, all accurate to the character's history. I'm not sure I can recommend Twincast to anyone unfamiliar with the Japanese Headmasters cartoon, but if there's a sale it's worth the purchase.
Here is a review for the newly revealed Transformers Legacy Evolution voyager Metalhawk. This item is out at specialty retailers, along with Twincast. The review below compares the mold to Cyclonus, showing how it is less complex in certain places. So, with this toy available at collector retailers in Canada and the US, are you going to be getting it now? Or wait to see if Walmart or Target stock it sufficiently in stores?
