Thanks to a tip from Paramount themselves today, we've found out that there's a cool contest going on
over on the Transformers Movie facebook page! In partnership with Facebook live, the brand team behind the Transformers: The Last Knight page is running a Transformers character tournament where fans that tune in to the livestreams can vote on which characters should proceed onto the next round, or proceed on their way to oblivion!
While the contest only features characters from the live action films, it's still enjoyable to make sure your favorite 'bot gets to the top!
It's run using a bracket system, and voting for the first round for the Autobot side has already ended, but the livestreams for Round 1 on the Decepticon side will begin approximately 16 hours from the time of writing.
See the website for the current bracket
here, and make sure to keep an eye on the facebook page,
here!
Place your bets on who wins it all down below in the Energon pub forums!

While not strictly Trasformers related, this message is perhaps a smidge more important right now. After the events in Texas, and the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, a number of celebrities have rallied support and donations for the people affected by the storm and floods - among them, director Michael Bay and actor Mark Wahlberg, who have taken to social media to show their support and relief efforts.
Similarly, site sponsor The Chosen Prime have set up a charity raffle, with Takara Tomy Legends LG-43 Dinosaurer/Trypticon, 2 TFcon VIP tickets, and a Bandai SOC Megazord to be won, with donations to the Red Cross, the Houston Humane Society, and Heart to Heart respectively. You can read more about all this below.
1/ Giving a 100k back to the great People of Texas, where I filmed many years. It's such a time of need for them right now. I'm going to...
2/ disperse to various animal shelters. And figure how to get out of state car carriers to truck in inexpensive cars to give out to...
3/ families who lost a car and have no insurance. Every bit counts. Everyone should just give a little.
When tragedy strikes, it's our duty as Americans to lead the charge and help those in need. Our trucks are on the way! @Aquahydrate #Wahlburgers @diddy #hoUSton
Win a Takara LG-43 Trypticon by donating $5 to help the victims of Hurricane Harvey. All proceeds will be given over to the Red Cross in support of the relief efforts. Thank you in advance.
Every $5 donation is equivalent to 1 entry. Add more and help more! Show your Transformer Community Spirit by helping out in this cause.
The drawing of the prize is slated for September 8th, 2017. Prize winner will be notified via Email, and result will be posted on our Social Media Channels.
If you do not care to participate in this drawing, but would still like to help, please visit
http://www.redcross.org to donate.
*International entrants welcome, however winners will be responsible for shipping and and duties or taxes necessary.

Valvoline had an officially licensed Transformers lunchbox
available as a prize in a points related contest in the US.
It turns out that this same lunchbox has been sent to Canadian fans who claimed the Valvotron toy and they have been starting to arrive. Below is an image of the lunchbox to give a sense of how big it is.

The Valvoline campaign for Transformers: The Last Knight had a few differences in Canada where everyday one would have a digital scratch off to see if they won. Well, many did and the prizes are finally being shipped out. The prizes included lunchboxes, shirts, subway gift cards and Racecar driver bobble-heads. Images of some of these prizes (won by yours truly) can be found below. Valvotron himself has yet to be received by anyone in Canada but it should be any day now.

It's that time again to make your voice heard in the Transformers Hall of Fame vote for 2017! Hasbro is asking fans to help nominate inductees into the Transformers Hall of Fame within three categories. The categories are:
Click on each of the three links above to cast your nominations from our lists.
As you know, no characters who have already been inducted within the 'Favorite Character' category will be considered for nomination. In a fun twist this year, in celebration of the release of Transformers: The Last Knight and the 10 year anniversary of the film franchise, any character that appears in the films is eligible for nomination in the 'Favorite Movie Character' category regardless of their nomination or induction previously (if Megatron can win for G1 and Beast Wars, it is only fair!). A list of inducted characters can be found at the bottom of this post.
The new category '2017 Transformers Toy of the Year' is being introduced to provide fans an opportunity to share their passion for the figures that have been the heartbeat of the brand for over 30 years. This new category is meant to celebrate the new product within the calendar year and the ongoing efforts of the Hasbro Transformers team to fulfill the desires of our many fans around the world with innovative and exciting toys. All nominations for this category must be toys newly released by Hasbro in 2017 and can include figures that are yet to hit shelves in the calendar year, but have been announced.
Participate in EACH poll so that we can determine the characters Seibertron.com's citizens wants considered for each category of the Transformers Hall of Fame. We'll share the Top 3 nominees for each category (nine nominees total) including the number of votes with Hasbro by 5pm on Sunday July 16th.
We will rank all of your polling results list in order of who received the most votes for each category. All polling result lists will be combined together, each Transformers fansite outlet getting an equal voice. Hasbro will use the combined values to generate the final ballot of three choices for each category. Details will follow regarding the official voting process in the coming weeks.
Winners of the final polling will be announced at HASCON, the official Hasbro Fanmily Event (September 8-10th in Providence, RI), during the Transformers Hall of Fame Dinner Event on Friday the 8th!
As a reminder, below are the characters and people who have already been inducted into the Hall of Fame. If you see a notable character missing from one of our lists, please let us know so that we might consider adding it.

A number of Seibertronians, including
Ravage2031 below, have been notifying us about the Valvoline tie-in product for Transformers: The Last Knight - the mighty, non-transforming Valvotron - arriving in the post! The delivery seems fairly erratic though, as there were many ways to apply for one, and multiple appear to show up per household even where the limit was one. Check it out below!
Ravage2031 wrote: Came home Tuesday to find Valvotron waiting for me and was like cool I got one. Came home today and there was another one. Did this happen to anyone else? Maybe they didn't get enough entries?
Didn't get one 3 days in a row. Entered using the 3 × 5 index card. One per household.
